Sat, Nov 15, my special cat, ***, suddenly had a seizure; lost control of hind limbsI could only think to rush him to closest pet emergency hospitalThis one is about milesI was in shock, franticDr [redacted] and [redacted] were there, took [redacted] in backI was crying, confusedThey took him in backSaid heart failure, blood clotsThey gave him something and said they would know in min if it would helpWhen they came back out Dr [redacted] said he was in serious heart failureShe had brought euthanization paper with herI was in shockThey never let me see him before signing papersI said I wanted to hold him while she did it but they said I could not be in thereI should have grabbed him out right then Then they took me back to himHe was visibly improved from when I took him inHe stood up on his hind legs for short periodAs they were giving him oxygen, there was a plastic cover over front of cageHe came over, I could poke a finger through hole in cover, and he rubbed his nose over my fingerI heard Dr [redacted] mention 'gas'I said I did not believe in thatMy mind was in a fogShe said 'oh no, not like gas chambersA gas for anastetic like I would get [redacted] was scared to death and all aloneThey rushed me to leaveI drove homeAfter calming down, I said I wanted to take his body to nearby cremation placeLong story short, I went Monday morning [redacted] 'n [redacted] vet office was open), they said I couldn't take it [redacted] came from back, said I was trespassing, called police, chased me (yo woman with a walker) outside, took down my license plateA girl from inside took out bag with ***'s body to meI drove home, police came to my house to issue trespass warning formI saw ***'s body; signs of being gassedHe was in pain, suffered immensely, paw covering eyesThis is violation of FlStatSect(Euthanasia of dogs and cats)Now I know why I couldn't be with him and why owners don't allow pet owners to have bodiesI am so haunted by leaving him and what they didI wake up every couple of hours screaming and crying
