We signed a contract in January We discussed all the terms of the contractAlso they asked what would happen if they decided they wanted to stop having the timber cut during the process? I told both of them that I was giving them a discount on the pasture clearing and going to include
cutting a few trees (outlined in the contract) due to the estimated timber value we were agreeing to cutEverything except the white oaks was supposed to be cutIf I was cut off from being able to log the entire agreed on area in turn I would not be able to do the tree work around their house for freeIn February I had a severe injury, it required surgery and loss of use of my right arm for a 6-month recoveryI communicated this to themThey said they understoodI still ,even against doctors advice , tried to do what I could on their propertyIn may Mrtold me he was not interested in cutting anymore trees and only to get what was already droppedI did as I was askedAnd finished the pasture area clearing ,grading and seedingAnd gathered the trees that were already cutI have not cut anymore treesI have since been repeatedly asked by the Mrswhen additional work will be completedI don’t feel it’s my place to get in the middle of their lack of communicationI did as I was asked by the Mrand completed and have had the forester out to sign off on the jobIt has been deemed satisfactorily completed to the states requirements I have already gotten copies of all timber receipts and issued a check for the balance of what I owed them minus the costs of the pasture area due to meThis will be mailed out on FridayThis settles our balancesDue to breech of contract by MrI will not do additional tree work for freeThat was only going to be done if our entire agreement was upheld which it was not by Mr. I did as a courtesy still give them the pasture clearing , grading and seeding at a significant discount.SincerelyChris ***A C Clearing of Virginia, LLC*** *** ** ***
