I am writing in response to the complaint you received from Mrs***. Mr*** was the person that originally called to set up service on 11/14/16. At the time, our computer systems were down, and we were unable to receive payment for new service, as we normally would at time of
set-up. Therefore, a paper invoice was mailed outHe was told that the containers would be delivered to his residence the next business day. Our delivery driver placed the containers next to the mailbox with their address on the stated day of 11/15. Our company received a voicemail on the morning of 11/by the account holder, Mr***. He stated in his voicemail that he wanted to cancel service, but did not specify why. When we called him back, he told us of the issue. He was told we would speak to the delivery driver to see where the containers were placed. Upon talking to the driver, we called Mr*** back to let him know where the driver had placed them, he agreed that where the driver described was in fact his residence and that he was not home at the time to see if they were in fact there. He stated he would call back when he got home. Mr*** was informed that if he still no longer wanted the service, it was not an issue at all, but that we would be back to retrieve the carts. At no point were the customers ever informed that they would still be charged a fee for canceling service. This was a misunderstanding because our company does not intend to charge for a service that was not provided. We never heard back from the account holder, Mr***. At this point in time, our containers have been retrieved and any fees originally charged have been voided and account has been closedIt is our understanding that at this point, issue has been resolved
