Review: I purchased a 04 dodge neon with 92,000miles in the amount of 2400.00 and paid an additional $100.00 to have it delivered to my home. I was unable to register the vehicle because I was given the incorrect title so I had to drive back to [redacted] for a teporary plate. A few days after the purchase the battery died and I had it repaired. I received the title on 03/15 and on 03/22 the transmission went on the car. I contacted the owner - [redacted] and explained that the car would not drive and that I was stuck in a town nowhere near my home. He stated that he would contact [redacted]. who was the person that worked for him and sold me the vehicle to come down and pick up the car. After a week I had no choice but to register the vehicle and have [redacted] tow the vehicle to my home. Everytime I spoke with [redacted] he would tell me that his guy [redacted] was coming to get the car and he no showed. I missed a day of work, paid for [redacted] membership, registerd a non-moving vehicle and am now left with a $1250.00 repair. I went to the shop on 04/09 and spoke with [redacted] who had stopped answering my calls and refused to assist me. He stated that it was a civil matter and asked me to leave his property. I called the local police department and filed a report, in front of the officer [redacted] admitted to knowling selling me a no good car and that he wanted [redacted] to pick it up to have it fixed and he had refused. I am a single parent of two children and rely on transportation to provide for my family. This has been very stressful and scary as I do not have any funds to purchase another vehicle nor complete the repairs. The Bill of Sale I have was mailed to me without my signature and I feel that AC Garage knowingly sells unsalvagable vehicles to people and would hate to see this happen to someone else. My 2yr old child was in the back seat when the FLOODED transmission went bad on the car. I never went into any water with this vehicle and that explains the damaged seats.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back for the purchase of the vehicle. I am not asking for the time missed frm work, the battery, registration & tags, or the triple A.
