On 1/**/ 2013 , I purchased [redacted] safe model #MS912-g-e. I paid $475.00 cash. for safe. I asked the total cubic ft before I purchased it. the salesman didnt know size. when I arrived home I opened safe & tried to fit all my contents. I have a watch box that does not fit inside safe, this is the main reason I purchased safe. I needed a safe a that was 1.2 or 1.3 cu ft . this safe I purchased was 0.73 cu ft. Also I looked at a few other retailers that had same safe & model for $150.00 - $170.00 less than I had paid. so I was overcharged by a large sum of money. I went back to A& C House of Locks the next morning which was 1/**/2013. I explained my concerns to sales rep, about the Large price difference from other retailers & theirs . I also explained that I had a watch box that did not fit inside safe & it was no good for my needs. I was told that the boss will not refund or exchange safe once it has left store. I explained "I just took it home Yesterday" he said they do not give refunds. so I asked for a price adjustment or a Larger safe .. He said No ! then the salesman Pointed to a sign that says "No refunds on electric & lighting" he was insisting that since the safe I purchased was a 4 AA battery keypad entry that it was electric.! There is No electrical wires or power cables running to or from this safe. it is battery opened not electric ..there is no electric current that can harm anyone or shock them ! battery operated is not even a electronic device. But if I would have purchased a Safe with a combination lock I would be able to return it.. From what I understand that No return on lighting & electric does not pertain to the safe I purchased in anyway.. I tried to speak to the sales rep the evening of 1/**/2013, I called him again, he still said NO !! If I would have paid for item with credit card I would have received refund or exchange already , since I paid Cash this is why I am not getting any cooperation ..Now its been so long I would like my money back & to return safe.. Thank you
