7/19/I called AcPros to fix one of my air conditionersThe compressor was tripping offline and not coming back on A service technician arrived on 7/per appointmentHe examined the outside compressor unit then went into my attic to examine the blower unit and controlling motherboard He was able to do something on or near the motherboard to force the compressor outside to start He charged me $and left even though we both agreed that the cause of the problem had not been found
Just after 6pm on 7/I called AcPros because the the compressor was again not runningThe after-hours on-call service tech was the same guy who had "fixed" it the day beforeHe said he would "try" to come by later that eveningHe did notHe also did not call or come by on 7/On 7/I called their office and discovered I was not on their service schedule They said a service tech would be out on 7/
On 7/the same service tech arrived who came to my house on 7/AcPros sent him because he was "most familiar with the problem" He went through his same process again to force the compressor on without identifying the cause of the problemHe charged me another $even though I argued that I did not think I should owe it I decided to take it up with their home office later Later their office management decided they would not refund any of my money even though their service tech did not find or fix the problem
I called another AC service company and they located and replaced a bad electrical condenser that was the problem within only minutesI will never use AC Appliance Pros again
