Yesterday 12/05/2019 I boarded bus line 30 ( going towards Bayonne) at around 6:35pm: bus # 6486. While waiting in the freezing wind I counted my money. Upon entering I inserted my $1 bill first and immediately noticed that the display showed the wrong amount ( few cents ) I went on and inserted the counted coins. The driver was waiting for me to leave, she started shouting the I had to put my money in, I told her that she saw me doing it, and that the display was broken, she went on and on raising her voice and now said that I had to add 40 cents. She was super rude, I added 2 quarters to show her that the display would still not show the right amount. She went on shouting and insulting me anyway. Being accused in front of the whole bus for something I didn't do, and that is the result of a faulty machine IS DESPICABLE. SHAME ON YOU Academy!
