Review: I paid for a 5 lesson road test package with the car for the road test. On the date of my final driving lesson the instructor was an hour late and was unable to provide me with my lesson as scheduled right before my road test. I took my road test as scheduled and passed and therefore, the service that I paid for (driving lessons in preparation for the road test is null and void). The [redacted] refuses to compensate me for this lesson that they were not able to provide me with.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the service that was not provided to me. I do not want to be offered another service that is different from what I purchased in the first place.

July 2014:

I went there to start learning how to drive. In that year I decided I wanted just lessons and no road test. Karen was my instructor at the time.

January 2015:

Paid for 5 lessons at the price of $229.00. First lesson Thursday January *, 2015 @ 4 pm. Second lesson Sunday January **, 2015 @ 6 am. Third lesson Wednesday January **, 2015 at 10 am. Fourth lesson Tuesday January **, 2015 @ 4 pm and 5th lesson Wednesday January **, 2015 @ 1 pm. First road test schedule for 1/**/2015 at 3pm. Canceled because of snow storm.

March 2015:

March **, 2015 Tuesday had a road yet and got rescheduled. Karen came late from Staten Island. Was suppose to take me to road test in [redacted]. She was suppose to meet up with other driving instructor Efrain cause he had other students to take to road test site. He left from the driving school to go to road test site. I had a 2 lessons prior to the road test but never had a lesson due to her being late. She picked me up from home to take me to road test site. Never made it to road test cause she forgot my 5 hour certificate at driving school and instead drove there. It was 1 pm. That was the same time I was suppose to take my road test. Unknowingly she told the receptionist Jennifer that I was not ready to take the road test. She tried to put the blame on me due to her actions. They gave me 2 lessons and a new road test for June [redacted].

June 2015:

On June [redacted] road test was canceled because of car issues. My mom went up to driving school to demand a refund. She spoke to owner John and he told her that a refund is not possible because of 30 day refund rule. He quoted saying "[redacted]"

July 2015:

Had one lesson on July *, 2015 at 11 am. Paid $177.19 for 3 lessons for August road rest and lessons. It was done by Jennifer.

August 2015:

Tuesday 8/**/15 at 5pm and Wednesday 8/**/15 at 10 am had lessons with instructor Romeo. Wednesday 8/**/2015 at 7:44 pm Raquel told me that the car is not good for road test and needs to be fixed due to broken number and broken trunk. It was currently being tied down by a string. She promised it would be fixed by the morning and Romeo would be taking me to the road test. At 8:02 pm Raquel confirmed that I was going to have a lesson for 8 am and to be driven to the road test for 10 am. Thursday 8/**/15 was supposed to have a driving lesson for 8 am and road test at starett city Brooklyn but Romeo never showed. I called around 10:30 am 8/**/15 saying that instructor never showed up. She played it off like she was shocked that he never came. There was no initial explanation. She then said that his mother got sick and had to be taken to the hospital. At 11:26 am Raquel promised me 4 lessons free of charge for road test and lessons for October. I set up this 2 months in advance.

October 2015:

Thursday 10/**/15 at 5pm had a lesson. Friday 10/**/15 at 5 pm had no lesson. She called the same day around 7 pm and mom answered. She was asking to speak to me but never left a message. The following day I spoke to her and she said driving instructor did not want to come due to the distance and never showed up. Saturday 10/**/15 at 11 am I had a lesson. On Sunday 10/**/15 at 1 pm had no lesson. Raquel left a message saying instructor called out and that owner John girlfriend father died of cancer and had to go to Pennsylvania. She asked me to come 10/**/15 Monday at 6:45 am to driving school so someone to take me to road test. Road test was for 8:30 am for Garden City, Long Island. At that point I became fed up and did not want to chance being disappointed once again.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of all the money I spent on their lessons. I did not receive the services provided or promised.

Review: I signed up with this driving school for 10 hrs lessons, they forced me to pay everything before scheduling any driving lesson. I made sure and tole me that im available only week end. the sectretaray confimred that's yes. after I paid, they started postponing my lessons and giving me different times which im working and I cant. I ttok with them 5 hrs only and they sent a very rude unprofessional driver, he was with attitude and scramming at me, I got a bit nrvous and I told him pls be nice, he said no this the way how the instructors in road test going to be, I told him well im still in learning process and im customer. after that I found out he was the owner his name john. the Secretary called me she said well your not ready for your driving road test, we re going to upgrade your package with extar v5 only $90, I was so naive and believed her. then when I was calling to ask when the driving is coming for my lessons, she said no pay first, I was like seriously schedule my 5 lessons left first, then I got nervous I told her u know what your a scam. so now they took my money and being mistreated and didn't get my 5 lessons. after this the owner john called me yelling and screaming. after this I read some reveiw that they did same to some others. your help is highly needed. thankDesired Settlement: I need them to sent me my money back. the 5 lessons left. I paid $290 total for 10 lessons and driving test.
