Academy Garage Door

Review: Academy Garage Door vendor failed to perform the work stated in his contract with us. He will not answer our calls nor return our phone calls. He sets-up appointments and doesn't keep them and when we do finally contact him he lies when he plan to do the work. We provided him a down payment but have not heard anything from him; i.e if the door and opener was order and when will he install the door and opener.

Now the number listed on his business cards are non-responsive and one of the numbers is no longer working. We have to use other phones with different numbers because he will not pick up if he see our number. This was the only way we could get to speak with him and for him to lie to us about when he was planning to do the work he promised.

His name is Pedro P[redacted] and the company is located in Linden, New Jersey. If he was not planning to do the work he could have told us that from the beginning. Whatever his problem is it should not affect the work he stated he was going to perform. This is a business matter and we want our business to be conduct in a professional manner as agreed upon.

This reflects badly on the type of business man Mr. P[redacted] is and what his company represents.Desired Settlement: Refund our deposit. Refund our deposit!

Review: date of contract was 2/28/13 - cost -$2300 - gave deposit of $1200, got call that order came in and now I get call - will be coming on a Tuesday to install. I made sure I would be home on that day...no show..problem....rescheduled 2 more times ....no show then a call???? 5 months later still wating!!!!!!!!!!!!Desired Settlement: I want my money back they are not professional in their actions!!!!!!!

Review: I had academy garage door come to my house on 2/25/15 for purchase and installation of new garage door and garage door opener, since I gave him a check of 600.00 partial payment, he has not done any service, he never showed up on dates he said he was coming and now he will not answer any of my phone calls and text. I am out 600.00, he no showed twice and cancelled once in march and april of 2015Desired Settlement: I just want my 600.00 returned back to me, I will look for another company to purchase and instal
