Revdex.com,I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaintFor your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regretfully, [redacted] is not stating the truth I never asked for buyer information And no one in his office ever called me on or near the first three closing dates given to say if we were closing or not and so I made the call to their office asking if we were and if not, when He NEVER said anything about "road bumps along the way" either He told me she was pre-approved and we would close in six weeks It was weeks later on an FHA loan that we closed at lastAnd this was past the latest closing date they'd given me of July 10th So we were fully out of contract and still no one in that office would call to tell me anything I finally said I was relisting the house and done with them and then they decided to close itRegards, [redacted]

To All considering using Academy Mortgage in Wilsonville, for your Home Loan or Refinance, be Very Cautious of how they handle your dream, they Crushed Mine!

Chad Krober, Brad Hansen, and their team could not have managed my loan processing more poorly, if they had designed it as such. They failed on multiple levels.

Their Colossal Failures have cost me 10's of thousands in long term investments. I had to use retirement funding, to save my property purchase.

In addition to failing to process my loan as they promised, they have made no attempts to discuss resolve / promise solving or admit their failures.

Folks, I suggest you using a different loan provider. there are hundreds of reputable companies, that would be very grateful to manage your purchase / dream properly.

Best to all

Regretfully, [redacted]is not  stating the truth.  I never asked for buyer information.  And no one in his office ever called me on or near the first three closing dates given to say if we were closing or not and so I made the call to their office asking if we were and if not, when.  He NEVER said anything about "road bumps along the way" either.  He told me she was pre-approved and we would close in six weeks.  It was 13 weeks later on an FHA loan that we closed at last. And this was past the latest closing date they'd given me of July 10th.  So we were fully out of contract and still no one in that office would call to tell me anything.  I finally said I was relisting the house and done with them and then they decided to close it. Regards,[redacted]

We do not have a customer by the name of [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] was a seller on a home we were financing. She repeatedly called and requested confidential information on the buyers' file. After numerous phone calls, we requested that she limit her calls to 1-2 times per week for status updates...

only, and to not ask for information regarding the buyer, as we could not, by law, release confidential information to her. Obviously, the sale did not close as planned. However, as the seller, Ms. [redacted] signed documents extending the closing date. We are regretful she chose to quit her job, but as we explained to her and her buyer, there are many unforeseen road bumps in the closing process. Please don't hesitate to contact either myself or Nita A[redacted] at the numbers below if further information is needed.

Review: I was in the process of applying for a home loan and had been working with Academy Mortgage for several months. I was advised by my loan officer who was helping me that I would be able to qualify for $125,000 home loan through the PHFA housing assistance program after my income increased on November 1st. I had supplied to him appropriate documentation proving my increased income and he said he would write me a letter of pre-approval so that I would be able to make an offer on a home. He told me in an email that I have saved that every pre-approval letter is specific to the property and that as soon as I found a house I wanted to make an offer on, let him know and he would "write up a letter and send it over." After I had found a home that I loved and wanted to make an offer, I did, per the instruction from my lender. I made an offer for $119,900 for a property here in Pittsburgh. After my realtor worked with me late into the night to get the sales agreement and seller's disclosure signed, and after the seller had accepted my offer, I was informed by my loan officer that I was not approved after all and that his office did not have the licensing certification to offer a PHFA loan. I was extremely embarrassed and deeply disappointed w hen I had to inform the owner and realtors involved that I was unable to continue with the purchase. I was told by my lender to make an offer and that I was pre-approved, and when I did, he came back and said I wasn't approved. This was my first home purchase and it meant a great deal to me. It has caused myself and my family a great deal of distress. The sales agreement was cancelled and the house was put back on the market.Desired Settlement: All I want is my home loan so that I can buy the house I wanted, and for the loan officer with whom I was working to be properly instructed to assure this does not happen again to someone else.
