I sold this business over 2 years ago and the first time I heard about this incident was on January 31.2017. I immediately called the number provided to me by [redacted] (current owner) at 650[redacted] and left a voicemail asking for a return call and never received a call. I then called around to...
find out what happend and was able to track down my former Operations Manager [redacted] told me that he had take the permit to the building department and handed it to the counter manager [redacted] and was told that he would final the permit (he made notes on the plan). [redacted] did not final the permit and is since no longer at the department. I then called the inspector of the job [redacted] and he directed me to [redacted] the senior building inspector. [redacted] responded to my email saying that to final the job he would need a site plan and a note saying that the area was non-buildable. When we pulled the permit we had already submitted a site plan that said the area was non-buildable so I was confused what he was asking for. I responded and asked for clarity. He did not respond. I have responded again and am awaiting a response.
I feel I have addressed this issue in a timely manner given the date to which I received the information. This seems to be a simple paperwork issue and should be easily resolved. I have not been able to go to the building department because I live in Los Angeles but I am willing to make the trip if that is what [redacted] wants.
I'm not sure why [redacted] did not return my call but I am eager to resolve this for him
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]
The Business has agreed to a partial refund, though the check has not been received yet. I will update this complaint or file a new one in the future if necessary.
Sincerely, [redacted]
