Review: Academy of Notaries Public's lack of communication and poor customer service has caused a delay in our notary obtaining her materials to perform notary duties. They attempted to remove themselves from responsibility of solving the delay by blaming others. A complete email chain proves the lack of concern for time constraints. The owner is "unavailable and usually out of technology range for anyone to contact" so that we cannot contact him via phone or email. COMPLETELY unprofessional and would not recommend them at all. Our company has lost weeks of notary ability directly related to their lack of action.Desired Settlement: A refund has been promised by [redacted].

Hi [redacted], Attached is a copy of the receipt from Academy of Notaries Public. The portion of services that has not been performed is $55.00 of the $170.00 (Stamp & Seal $32, Journal $23). As of yesterday, they have promised to refund the $55. I am reporting them because they lack professionalism and communication skills. The problems actually began as of November 10, 2014 when [redacted] (our notary) mailed her Certificate of Authorization to the Academy’s subcontractor for bond and supplies, [redacted]. Receiving notary materials is a time sensitive matter. There seemed to be no concern on their end for the time constraint and were not willing to take responsibility for their lack of action. Their customer service is sub-standard. Others should be aware of this before paying for their services. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to call me.
