This is the message we sent to Mr***: I noticed when I was up there that the skylights with leaks have both failed (water inside the insulated glass). Both skylights have had caulking applied to the unit itself; they really need to be replaced. We would also add a new flashing
to the chimney (B-vent flashing) and then add roofing membrane to the locationsAs you can see from the picture, although not leaking at this time, the chimney and other skylight should be reflashed as well; I have included an option for that. Please let me know if you have questions or need more information. From Mr***: Also, the skylights themselves can be removed by just taking off a couple of screws and lifting them offCould the job be done without replacing the Skylights, with the skylight replacement being left to me? Our response: If you want to replace the skylights themselves that might fix the problem.
