On Feb11, 2105, Ms [redacted] brought her Chev Malibu to our service department for repairsShe picked up her vehicle the same dayWe received a call from Ms [redacted] around the first of March, some - weeks laterShe stated that she had driven to Colorado and when she arrived there she noticed some damage to the driver's side door panelShe was questioning if the door panel could have been damaged by our technician while in our shop for repairShe first spoke with our service manager and then to me abot her concernsI assured her that if our technician damaged the door panel that we would take care of fixing it for her but we would have to first determine if that was the caseSince she was in another state, I asked her to get the dealership there to email us a photo of the damaged area so we could determine if the technician could have caused itWe have thoroughly discussed the issue with the technician who worked on the vehicle, looked at the photo of the damaged area, and have come to the conclusion that we are not liable for the damage on the door panelThe technician did not notice any damage when he received the vehicle to work on nor did he notice any damage when he completed the repair and the vehicle was picked up by Ms [redacted] on Feb11, Ms [redacted] apparantly did not notice the problem until a few weeks later after she had driven the vehicle to Colorado, as that is when we were contacted about the issue.We understand Ms***'s concern about this issue but after evaluating the information we have, we do not feel that we are liable for the repair of the door panel on Ms***'s vehicle

I am rejecting this response because: My door panel was not damaged prior to this repair. I do not accept their recollection of the facts. I have been a loyal customer since 2003 and would not make a false complaint. I do not respect their "blowing off" my issue since I could not return with the vehicle since I had arrive at my next suty dation on time.

Holiday weekend,  we decided to close early on that Saturday to give our employees time with their families for holiday activities.  Apparently the salesperson had forgotten about the holiday closing time when he told you that we were open until our normal time of 6:00pm.  We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.When you returned on Tuesday 9/6/16 is when you actually wrote up the credit information and did the initial paperwork(buyers order) to try to purchase a vehicle. We submitted the vehicle and credit information to our lending sources to secure a loan for your purchase.  The lending institutions sent us back their credit decisions on that particular vehicle and any conditions that may apply in you securing a loan for a vehicle. These decisions were then discussed with you.  We do not make any of those decisions.  This is the same process for everyone.  I assure you that you were not discriminated against in any way or for any reason. We would be more than happy to try to help you further in trading vehicles. We would have to meet the guidelines set by the lending institutions or, if you prefer, you can use any bank or financial institution of your choosing to secure your loan.
