Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Regards, [redacted] Ok they are so wrong in there respond and she is LYING they never gave me the email to corp office they gave me a number but it took call in order for them to reply and when they did reply she was short and rude and I had to ask her to please take me off speakeri again asked who she was her tile and all she said I am in charge for this apartment ( Acadia ) all she gave me was her name ( [redacted] ) ? she did not care to hear what I had to say now the manager also could care less she NEVER asked me for a bank letter I would havebrought one in , and I was not short dollars (( it shows you how well they listen )) my bank held my check because I was a new account even tho I had the money to pay but by the bankholding my check my account was dollars short that the bank was holding ALL THIS FOR dollars I was in and out of the office they could have told me the check did not clear but they let it incur more late fee that I DID NOT KNOW about , so I started to make payments on the late fee I had no chose then when I went in she said I could NOT make payment any more and I had to pay in full why take my payment and then change there mine , so so wrong , now I did not know my bank was holding of my checks it was a misunderstanding but my bank NEVER charged me a for NSF because the money was there it was a mistake on my banks part I never got charged a NSF through my bank I even showed one of the leasing agents the print out from my bank TRUST me if the manager did her job right she could have cared enough to ask me for a letter from my bank but NOwhen I ask what can I do to drop the late fees she said NOTHING , they did nothing to help me fix this misunderstanding I feel they should care about there tenants and help us but I see theydon't now this LAKE fee it is not a privet lake because its open to the public yet we are the ones paying a so call Lake Fee , I have asked for a security but they told me to just call the cops wheni see people doing drugs or having sex by the lake well no I am not doing that it is the apartments job to keep us safe and they should HIRE a security to help I am so disappointed in the waythey handel issues I am so unhappy that they could and WOULD NOT do anything to help me I still want the EMAIL of the owners of KELLER Property but they will NOT give it to me .I think you should look into how this people charge late fees and not tell you till its to late ,, yes I paid I had no chose I explained I am sick and my mother is in the hospital but that did not matter .I am asking for someone to look into the way they do businessi would like a reply with the owners Name and Email

*** keeps changing her story , now she is saying there is no email to give me but if you see on her last letter she said they gave me an email well the number I got ( which they never returned my call ) I called them many times *** never call me back !! .I am so disappointed on the way they do business I still want the main email address not ***'s email but I see there is nothing you are willing to do .This Matter has not be resolved I am a very unhappy Tenant and don't feel safe here . I hope someone looks into the way they treat there tenants I am not giving up on the email to the owners I will be sending an email of all the problomes we are all having here I can't believe there is no one willing to help us I will have to hire an attorney to get the main email I feel the owners need to know what is happening at Acadia .I have talk to many tenants and they all do not feel safe sad just sad

I received your letter regarding *** *** #***She had a non sufficient funds check come back to us on February 28thShe came in and only paid her rent partWith an NSF a NSF fee of $is applied plus late charges $on the 3rd and $a day after that up to the 19th of the monthDue to
the fact that she didn’t pay in full, late charges accrued until she payed of her balance offWe do not waive fees for nayone especially if it is a returned checkShe kept telling me that she was short $in her account and that it was a bank error but never brought us paperwork to confirmSo late charges and an NSF was appliedShe has brought her account up to date and now has a zero balanceThe Lake fee is something everyone pays upon move in and renewalWe have a private lake on the propertyWe gave her the corporate email and she was told she had to pay the fees Let me know if you need anything else Thank you *** *** |*** ***

With regards to #*** *** ***She was given corporate’s phone numberProcedure is for the call to come back to me and if the residents doesn’t agree with me, then it goes back too cop orateThere is no email address what she can email for a complaint*** *** is the Vice President of Operations who is over this property*** called her and explained to her that we could not waive any fees for her due to it being an NSFAll fees apply which are $for the NSF and Late fee that accrue from the 3rd of $and $per dayPaul did come in and pay part of the amount owe but because she did not pay in full it continued to accrue late feeThis was all explained to her and is in her lease agreementThis was all explained to her by me and my staffShe was the one who told me that she was short $in her bank account and that is why the check came backEvery time I spoke to her I asked her about a letter from the bank if to was the banks error to see if I could get the fees waivedShe never brought me a letter and it was indeed her fault that she was $short in her accountThat is out of my controlOnly *** *** can waive any feesShe states in her statement that it was a new account and they held her checkI’m sure they informed her of thatThe resident knows that a check is insufficient funds before we doCompany policy states we are not to take partial payments on insufficient fund checks, but the front desk staff was new and the assistant manager was not in when she made partial paymentWe did everything correct on our part as it it company policyIf we waive fees or anything else for anyone, we can get in trouble as the Fair Housing laws in treating everyone equallyWe do not waive fees for anyoneAs far as security, we do not provide security on the propertyThat is also in our community policies to call Every resident upon move in and renewal is charged a Lake fee of $We have a private lake at the property *** *** |*** ***
