Acappella Massage Reviews (1)

I have been a resident Cypress Pointe Apartments for 3 years. I have never once been late on my rent and have been a model tenant. Approximately a year-and-a-half ago I had requested a handicap parking space to be put in the front entrance to my building and was refused by the maintenance supervisor stating that I have a garage which I pay extra for and it's about 120 yards to my entrance. I'm a disabled veteran and am permanently disabled on Social Security disability. Months ago my carpeting tore open on a seam so I immediately reported it to the leasing office and was told that it would be looked at. Months passed by with nobody even looking so each time I paid my rent I brought it up again that my carpeting needs to be repaired and was told the same thing somebody would be out to look at it which never happened. They have neglected to even look at the situation which now has tripled in size due to their lack of concern. With me having major back surgeries and problems I shuffle my feet as I walk and that opening in the carpet has now become a trip hazard. It scares me daily that at any point I could be walking past that area and trip forcing me head first into a knee wall that separates my kitchen from my living room. If that happens I could get knocked out and split my head open. With me being on blood thinners from a heart attack I would literally lay there and bleed out causing possible death because I live alone. Finally I had had enough and went to the office on Sept 12th 2016 and asked to speak to the manager, I was told the manager was not in the office I asked when will she be back and was told tomorrow. So on Sept 13th 2016 I walked to the leasing office and this time I was met with a different leasing agent I asked to speak to the manager and again was told that she is not in the office and would not be back this week At that point the phone rang which the leasing agent answered not by saying Cypress Point Apartments or even hello but answered saying yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, and she handed the phone to me which caught me off guard, It was one of the owners who told me to get out of HER office, I said excuse me she said "I said get out of my office". I then stated it is the Clubhouse/ leasing office and I have every right as a paying tenant to be there she then said get out of my office you are harassing my staff which I replied if you would have adressed my repair months ago I would have no reason to come up to your office I am not harassing your staff I am asking for my carpet to be repaired and or replaced as it is extremely old, torn and a trip hazard making my space not safe. I again was told to get out of her office and that they would not be renewing my lease. I have since filed a complaint with HUD and filed a discrimination complaint with the ACLU (American Cival Liberties Union ) which is currently ongoing along with a small claims case for damaging my car by re-roofing the garages without notification to move my vehicle ( which stays in the garage all but for twice a week, once to go to store and run errands and Sundays to go to church ) I opened my garage one morning to find my car covered in wood chips, shingle gravel, and debris from high powered roofing nail guns shooting nails into the roof at approx 1000 psi causing scratches, scuffs, and dings on my roof and Hood. I have over 300 pictures of this property which is so mis-managed with no weed control they cut the grass whenever they get around to it, garbage all over the property not to mention abandoned cars all over the parking lots and serious trip hazards all over including a sewer clean out on the SW corner of the property that sticks 3 feet out of the ground instead of being cut to grade and a huge hole around it due to settling of the ground after install. The garages that they rent at $65 a month are built directly on the parking lot instead of on a footing meaning they flood with every rain causing me to loose irreplaceable pictures and keepsakes that belonged to my fiance who passed away June 17th, 2013 that were being stored in the garage. This property is run by Bayshore Properties so if you see either name Cypress Pointe or Bayshore Properties RUN they are SLUMLORDS who will use the bait and switch by showing you a model in one of 2 perfectly manicured buildings on either side of the office to get you locked into a lease once you get to your actual building the landscape is filled with weeds some through bushes waist high and garbage that lays around for weeks at times. There are no lights in the common grass areas in the center of the property making it extremely dark and no lights on patios. The intercom access system doesnt work and they screwed metal plates over the latches of every entry door meaning anyone can just walk right into the buildings gaining access to your apt door. So don't belive the hype it's all just to get you in the door you will soon regret.
