ACC Contracting

Review: Contracted ACC on March **, 2013 to build a portico and repair roof damage caused by the snowstorm of Feb. [redacted]. On April **, 2013 ACC started building the portico. As of July *, 2013 after many texts, excuses, phone calls and lies, [redacted] has not returned to finish the job. I told him on July * that I was terminating the contract since I needed to have his extremely shabby work repaired ASAP. Apparently, while building the portico [redacted] and his crew cut my gutters to attach the portico to the home. This caused every rain storm since then to saturate my foyer in the front entranceway and this caused substantial damage to the whole area including water pouring down the walls of the basement running over electric wires and boxes. I was completely hysterical by this and the only "fixing" [redacted] did since then was to get the front door to close since the water damage prevented the front door from closing at all! I have hired a new contractor to fix and finish the job.Desired Settlement: I would like the $7,980.75 (insurance check #[redacted]) and the cash $1,500 (for the portico) PLUS the $700.00 it will cost to repair the new damage.
