I got a call from a 518-531-8125 number and it was some kind of a sex phone person when they're leaving a message on my cell phone from your corporation which is cause me and my girlfriend really good to a blue it out argument and then they started texting me I don't know what kind of scam your corporation does but when I find out you are going to get shut down and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law
Review: On April 2, 2013, a gentleman with a British accent, called my office phone and indicated he was calling on behalf of the U.S. treasury. He indicated that I had won a grant award of over $9,000 for my education. He provided a grants approval number and said I just had to call the Grants Approval Officer at ###-###-#### to verify some information and the money would be mine to spend however I liked as long as I did not gamble with it or hire an attorney with it. He claimed that I could use this money to pay some of my student loan, credit card debt, or spend however I like with the exception of the above two caveats. I just had to call the number. I opted to do some investigating as this just seemed too fishy. I spoke with my student loan provider who indicated they had never heard of any type of offer such as this. I did a reverse phone look up which came back to unlisted in [redacted], New York. After speaking with a friend last night, he suggested doing a [redacted] search for the phone number and when I did so, I found that the number belonged to ACC National Telecom Corporation, a collection agency. The company is engaging in unethical collection practices and fraud.Desired Settlement: Prosecution for fraudulent business practices. Stop calling me.
Review: Unsolicited repetitive calls (6 calls per hour). No one or machine answers if I do pick up the call.Desired Settlement: Remove my phone number from your system. Do not call me. Stop your harassing call tactics trying to sell or survey me whatever it is you are representing.
Review: I started receiving calls at my business at the beginning of February 2013. This 'company' calls my busienss phone at lease once a day telling me that they'll be in my area and want to stop in to show me new credit-card readers. I have told them every time they call that I'm not interested in their services and ask to be taken off of their calling list. They immediately get an attitude and tell me that "I don't need to act like that' or 'whatever, do what you need to do'.Desired Settlement: STOP CALLING!!! Whoever these people are, and whatever they are selling...their company needs to be looked into, as I believe that this is a scam.
Review: I received an automated call from the phone number ###-###-#### telling me that my auto loan request was approved. As I had not requested any auto loans I called the number back to get more information, correct the situation and stop any attempt at a loan being taken out in my name that I did not request. I could not understand the representative whom answered the phone, I repeatidly tried to explain why I was calling and eventually was hung up on. I tried to call back and the same representative answered the phone and would not allow me to speak to someone else whom I could understand. I had difficultly understanding the dialect of the person speaking as well as it sounded as if I was on a speaker phone as there was a large echo making it even harder to decipher the conversation from his end. I believe his name was [redacted].Desired Settlement: I just wish that no auto loan be approved under my name as I did not request any through this company or at all.
