Received a letter regarding an outstanding debt in June let my bankruptcy trustee know and they contacted ARO Inc to inform them to cease contacting me since I was discharged May Just received a similar letter on Government of Canada stationary that looks sort of official but not really threatening to garnished my income tax
Called number on letter got an unprofessional voicemailI left a message anywaysNo one called back
Contacted my bankruptcy trustee again and confirmed that there is no reason to be receiving this letter
Number trustees have is different than the number on the letter I received from ARO
I decided to call againafter confirming a ton of personal information woman demanded a $payment
I gave her my timeline of events that I was discharged in May, trustee contacted ARO in June and again inquired why I was getting a letter demanding payment
When I called in the ARO associate"Stephanie" was rude obnoxious and very unprofessionalunwilling to listen to me or explain what I needed to do to resolve this She kept saying "you" and "they"when I asked her to clarify who she meant by "they" because it could the government or my trustee or her agency she got ignorantthe call ended with her hanging up on me
I've been assured by my trustee that all is fine and they again have sent the information that they sent in June
Bad business AROyour threatening letters, scare tatics and mouthy phone operators should stop!
Especially if the mistake is on your end!
When they first called me , then didnt tell me what it was fornow just got off the phone *** I kept saying that I had no idea what he was saying and he said , you understand and you choose not too well that was not the case ! I really had no idea what he was saying He was the rudest person that I had ever dealt with
I have been dealing with these *** individuals since 2010, once upon a time I had5000$ line of credit, I paid it off in 2009! Ever since these people find it funny to destroy your credit rating by not removing the releaseEvery time I make a major purchase it's still there! It's 2016!! And it's still there, and when I called they said they would not lift a finger to help because the file is closed!
I have received calls a number of times weekly for well over months from ARO IncThe annoying thing is that I don't actually receive the call, all of a sudden there's a voicemail from them with the same recorded message, and no call that actually came in so I can't block their phone numbersI'm ridiculously tired of their harassment
