Complaint2/6/15 accellance home medical chair was delivered. acceslance picked up chair on 29 of april and returned 6/16/15 but not the correct chair. 2/6/15-Accellance delivered me a new power chair. The batteries would not charge. Accellance swapped out the batteries.We called Accellance to come look at the chair and take it for a ride. it rolled me into the sink. [redacted] the repair took the chair to the shop called and said the chair was ready to come back. it was delivered 6/16/15. The chair accellance delivered was a loner from accellance with holes in the seat and the arms were scratched up. I informed [redacted] wrong chair and I wanted my chair Medicare is paying for. [redacted] went back to the shop and could not find my chair anywhere in the store. It was gone. I tried to call [redacted] is the Sales agent no one would return my calls.Desired Settlementreplace the lost power chair with a 3 wheel scooter.Business Response Please see document online.Consumer Response Please see document online.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)my condition has gotten worse. all of what accellance said is true except for the factory taking time for parts delivered. It does not take 7 weeks and the parts that were supposed to be recalled no one at [redacted] did not know about any of them.[redacted] manager in warehouse said he is going to return my chair and it was a used loner, then my chair could not be found. Then [redacted] found it in a truck in Carson City used as a loner for 7 weeks. All I want is my new chair back. in working condition.Final Business Response I have contacted the manufacturer for a statement explaining why the part took us so long to get. I am waiting for [redacted] to send that to me. We also, received a random audit from Medicare to determine if this power wheelchair was medically necessary. As soon as I get information from Medicare regarding their audit we can move forward with getting [redacted] a new chair. Being that the power wheelchairs are rentals, his chair went out on someone else because it was refused. That being said, if Medicare finds this chair to be medically necessary we will be ordering [redacted] a new chair. We are confident that this will pass the audit, but ultimately this is not up to us. I will be contacting [redacted] and Revdex.com with updates by the beginning of October with Medicare's findings. I will also send [redacted]'s statement when we get it.
