I am rejecting this response because:As I stated...I was told by Auto Assets that they would be able to figure out brake problem in a hours laborAuto Assets kept on asking for more time without fixing anything as well as not being able to diagnose the simple issue of a brake problemI since have had vehicle looked at by another shop which figured out problem with no diagnostic fee and has fixed issueI wish for a complete refund...if not I have no other choice but to seek legal optionsRegards [redacted] ***

I am attach [redacted] repair orders and am stat [redacted] that I was talked into unnecessary repairs (which were done incorrectly and have to be re-done) and blatantly lied to on more than one occasionI also have questions whether some work was done at all, namely the rack and pinion when I was told he lost or couldn't find my original partI have heard from both your dealership and others that this technician (Kevin) was perform [redacted] substandard work for awhile and he was let go because of itI am find [redacted] out now that a lot of the work that was done, has to be redone correctlyChris K [redacted] at Bradley told me the bolts were lose on the struts installed and there were parts on the struts that were not replaced and now the whole job has to be disassembled and redone correctly and that the transmission pan, gasket and filter were not replaced and this work has to be redone

In response to the customers complaint there is more information that I would need to make an educated decision on this matterTo address the strut issue the customer stated that the struts were installed incorrectlyI need to know what was incorrect with the installation in their eyesAlso

We contacted *** *** *** to confirm that, at the time of the sale, the car was under full *** *** warranty The *** *** warranty was good through 8/29/or 50,miles! as confirmed by Mike at *** *** The in service date at 8/29/Prior to sale, we
inspected the car and found it in need of tires As is customary with many of our cars, it was serviced with a new oil filter and synthetic oil.On 9/26/we sold the car to *** * ***We were contacted about this car in the middle of May We began to research the details of its history We were able to determine the name of the insurance company that paid the claim for the accident damage, that was acknowledged by the buyer.We were able to determine the name of the body shop that performed the repairs to the car The vehicle was sold "as is" and "without warranty" by our company We did not perform any repairs to the car.*** *** of Easton alleges that a sealant caused catastrophic engine failure.The accident was on 11/18/with less than 6,miles The car has traveled 16,miles since the accident.As professionals in automotive repair, we find it difficult to believe that a car could operate 16,trouble free miles after an accident, before problems occur. We believe that this complaint should be filed against the business that performed the repairs to the car or against *** ***, not to the seller.We are aware of manufacturer doing almost anything to honor a warranty claim That the car in question has been in an accident is their likely reasoning for denying the claim Firm pressure on the manufacturer typically results in the Manufacturer desiring to put the claim behind them If Mr. *** contacts the warranty service manager, he may find some assistance

Hello -We have gathered the necessary documents to support that [redacted] approved all diagnostic time.  We have included a time lapse progression of the repairs that the steps that we have taken and communicated that status with [redacted] every step of the way.  We have noted on the...

repair order for [redacted] that the previous person working on the car had left the brakes lines to the calipers loose and they were leaking brake fluid.[redacted] has spent considerable money on the car trying to make the brakes work, but the efforts to make the brakes work have been in the incorrect area.  At this point we believe either the ABS Control Unit/Master Cylinder or the Proportioning Valve is not functioning as designed.  [redacted] asked us to stop where we were so we did.  The braking system on the Cadillac Allante is a complicated system with numerous internet discussions regarding its failure and problems.We have many additional files that we would like to include in this complaint.  In short - we have only gone as far as [redacted] approved us to proceed in troubleshooting his problem.  Clearly the car has been so someone else to have work performed to get the brakes working without success.   [redacted] approved all of the work that we performed.  We have more time in researching solutions to his car than were billed for on his repair order.  The internet is full of discussions about the complex and fragile brake system on the Allante.   [redacted]
