This letter is in response to the letter dated Friday, September 9, 2016; reference number: ***On September 1, 2016, the customer had her *** *** towed to Murphy's Auto Body Shop for repair by way of *** *** Insurance CompanyThe customer's vehicle had damages to the
windshield and the tires areasAn estimate of repairs was generated for this vehicle through *** *** Insurance Company Service First ProgramThe estimate of repairs and photos of the vehicle was submitted to *** *** insurance Company for approval to repairThe Customer was notified of the cost and the estimated completion date for the repairsThe tires on the vehicle were worn to the point of replacementAfter replacing the tires, a betterment was applied on the tires for depreciation, wear and tearThe percentage of the betterment was 65% for the right front tire and 75% on the right rear tireThe customer also advised the shop that she purchased an additional tire for $for us to put onThis information was applied to the repair estimate and submitted to *** *** insurance Company for reimbursementThe customer advised the shop that she could not afford to pay the additional cost on the tires and wanted to know if we could take the new replacement tires off her vehicle and reinstall the old tires and she would come pick up the vehicleThe customer was advised that the shop cannot mount tires on a vehicle and then take them off to return to the distributorThe customer was also advised to contact *** *** insurance Company if there were any concerns with the repair estimateThe Customer Contacted *** *** Insurance and they advised her that the estimate was in Compliance with the repairs writtenThe customer contacted the shop and asked if anything could be done with the additional amount for the tiresThe shop adjusted the amount from Sto $The customer came into pick up her vehicle September 12, and said thank you for adjusting the amount and the vehicle looks great.If you have any questions or Concerns, please do not hesitate to Contact me.Regards,Andre B*** Sr
