We hired Life Tree Services to cut down five dead ash trees Three of the trees had the main power line going through them The owner of Life Tree Service said he was not authorized to go near the power line and he would call the power company The power company sent *** to take down the trees, one they cut to ground level, the other were left about feet high *** cut all the wood in about inch lengths All that was left for Life Tree Service was to chip up the branches and then cut the rest of the trees in foot logs and grind the stumps
Life Tree lead us to believe he was capable of removing all trees It turns out he does not have the equipment to work around high voltage wires He contacted *** They in turn had *** do the work Life Tree Service charged us $1,each for the trees *** did the majority of the work Life Tree Service claimed hours phone time with *** to justify the charge We feel this was very unfair
