Overall I would say Deer was a good company to work with They were professional, timely, and affordable We are very happy with the installation
The only negative thing I would cite is with regard to promised rebates When we were given our quote, it included a cash rebate from our power supplier When the installation was done we were told that Deer "would take care of" filing it for us We never heard from Deer again After about six months I finally followed up with Deer and we were told the rebate had expired but they hadn't known that when they gave us the quote So I'd encourage you to follow up directly with your power company if the rebate is a factor in your decision to hire Deer It felt a little bit like a bait and switch, we would have gone with Deer anyway, so we never made a stink about it, but just something to watch out for

By far the most down to earth and honest company out there today! The Comfort Specialist "Tom" was the most knowledgeable of all the people I had spoken with and that was a lotThe only one that cared enough to suggest exactly what it was we needed and not what a few individuals wanted to sell us! We ended up with a new Trane AC unit and a Mitsubishi ductless unit for our bedroomWe are very happyThe installation experts were a treat to have in our home and did an amazing jobThat or like an artist at work...very thoughtful, careful and articulate in every stepYou owe it to yourself to invite Deer Heating & Cooling into your livesWe did and are so happyThe company really cares and it showed from start to finish! Thank you Mike, Tom, Josh, Zach and even Heather in the front officeMy new extended family

Very Professional, Friendly, and Knowledgeable! Had estimates and they blew everyone of them awayThey was not the cheapest, but by far superior!! I would highly recommended them to anyone

I had Deer put in a new furnace and air conditioner after my broke! They truly are life savers! Not only did they do my installation super fast , and for a price I thought was pretty good, they also made sure I was happy! The lady who scheduled my appointment was very friendly and positive, the salesman was excellent at explaining everything, and the installers were wonderful with working neat and quick yet never acting bothered by my questions. Im so glad I found Deer and will be using them as my only heating and air company from here on out!

The DEER HVAC team is AMAZING!!!. After two horrible experiences and $1000+ of my money thrown at attempted repairs by two other companies. Doug (DEER HVAC) came to my house and saved me from throwing any more money at fake repairs. Within 20 minutes of his tech analysis...he replaced ONE faulty contact and corrected wires that were sabotaged by other technicians. His repairs totally contradicted the "other guys' telling me I needed a new motherboard ($500) and a new thermostat ($290) plus $160 for installation fee. Doug was amazing! He explained the repairs and proved to me nothing else was wrong with my system. He even ran a diagnostic test from my (so called broken thermostat) As if that wasn't enough...he also refereed me to a company that programed (over the phone) my very peculiar thermostat.!!! Yes Doug shared with me his network of technicans.
No technician or company does that...UNLESS THEY'RE AMAZING...OR DEER!!! I loved paying for quality repairs...and Deer HVAC in Fairborn is nothing but.

I am a believer!!! I will not take my HVAC needs to anyone other than your guys. I'm fed up with getting burnt by dubious HVAC repairman.

Don't make the mistakes I made that cost me 0-plenty...if you want it done right the first time...my buck, pun intended, (one on their logo ($) stops at DEER HVAC in Fairborn. Not all HVAC companies are created equal. Many are nothing more than con artists.

Thanks again Doug and your entire support team...you saved me from emptying my propane tank & pockets a second time waiting for fake repairs to solve my heat pump problem.

Thanks to Deer for great customer service. My 84 year old father had a stroke and was hospitalized when my son and I flew from out of state to be with him. First very hot week of the year and A/C was out. I called Deer from the hospital since my dad remembered Deer's name; he's had positive experience with the company in the past. I explained our problem and Deer had someone at the house within a couple of hours. They went out of their way to help on short notice during a really tough time.
