Review: On 11/**/2012, I ordered a very common flash, a Canon 580EX II Speedlite TTL Shoe Mount Flash. By phone, they told me the flash was backordered 5 weeks and asked if I would like a Sigma compatible flash, which I declined. On Jan**, 2013, I started inquiring on the status of my order, to which I was told it was on backorder for 4 MORE weeks ([redacted]). On 1/**, I was charged $252.98 to my Visa for the item...so again, on 2/**, I inquired, but this time, got no response. On 3/*, I again inquired and was told it would be shipped by the end of that week. On 3/* I informed them I had not received the flash and I was told the shipping dept was closed and that I should hear back on 3/**. On 3/**, I was told that the flash was shipping out that week and that I would be notified of the shipping number. On 3/** I contacted them again via email to find the status of my shipment and was told that they had not received their expected shipment and that I could cancel my order. I told them I wanted the order and a firm date for delivery. On 4/*, I again contacted them via email on status and again I was told I could cancel my order. On 4/**, I again inquired on the status, and was told the flash should be in in 3 weeks. On 5/**, I informed them I was moving to my billing address and inquired on the item, again to be told it was on backorder another 4 weeks. I was also told that it would be no problem to ship it to my billing address ([redacted] vs. [redacted])... On 7/*, I again inquired, but have yet to receive a response.Desired Settlement: I just want my flash. It was ordered in Nov of last year, it was paid for in Jan, and it is a very common flash...enough is enough. I think this is a bait and switch tactic where they simply wanted me to take the Sigma or want me to cancel...I really appreciate any help you can provide.
