We prepared a detailed letter of response that will be placed in the mail on September 18, 2017.In our letter, we address all issues pertaining to her disputeWe also offered her our further assistance should any additional information become necessary. As her dispute pertains to a HIPAA related
account, we are not authorized to provide you with a copyThis is necessary to protect Ms.Moreno's sensitive personal medical informationI trust that this should bring this matter to a satisfactory resolution.Kind regards,*** ***President

I have prepared another response to Ms*** that will be mailed to her todayHere is a portion of what was said:
On April 26, 2017, you called our office as you had seen
that your account was being reported to the credit reporting agenciesYou paid
your account in full that day during that phone conversationDuring that call
you asked if your account was going to show on your credit reportOur Account
Specialist advised you that yes, it wouldHowever it would show as a paid
collection
Our records show that your account should still be credit reporting
as a paid collection accountIf you have a report that has contrary
information, I would appreciate having a copy of that report so we can conduct
a further investigation in this matter. We
will do everything necessary to assure we only report accurate information to
the credit bureaus.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.I would like to add that this was an account set up without my approvalUp to the point I began my credit score project to improve it, I had never heard of the collection agency or the company they were hired from to handle my caseNot one call or letter was ever received by meBut I am satisfied with this resolution. Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:
Acclaim investigated the wrong account. In a letter I received from Acclaim, they reference San Dimas Medical Group. In March of 2018 they asked me to pay the 11.00 again and I did. Forgetting  at the time I had already paid in 2017. I am complaining about their reporting 140.00 as an OPEN collections to Oxleys Pest Control. Which has been paid for quite some time.  SCOOTER from Oxleys also called Acclaim. They assured her it was not on my credit report . My credit report says otherwise . Please correct the Oxleys Pest Control account and report accurate information . It is hurting my credit rating unnecessarily . Acclaim also needs to return the 11.00 I paid in March 2018.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/01/06) */
I sent Ms. [redacted] the following letter. I believe this should answer her questions and bring this matter to a satisfactory resolution.
Dear Ms. [redacted],
First, I would like you to know that I have complete empathy for you and your...

concerns. If I received such a call, I too would be defensive and concerned about the true purpose behind such a call.
Now, let me explain. It is not our company's choice to ask such personal questions. Rather, it is required by law. Any personal and sensitive information regarding anyone's medical records is protected by HIPAA. We are required to verify the identity of anyone we speak with regarding a medical account that has been assigned to our company.
Before we can even discuss the nature of our call, we must identify sufficient information to assure that we do not divulge information to someone not entitled to such information.
To address your concern about the credit reporting of this account in your name or your son's name, I can assure you no record of this account has been reported to any credit reporting agency.
By separate mailing today, we sent to your address an itemization of what is owed on this account.
As you have requested that no calls be made to you, should you have any questions regarding this account you may call our office toll-free at X-XXX-XXX-XXXX. If you do call our office, we will once again be required to ask you information to confirm that you are who you say you are. That is simply needed to conform with laws and regulations.
Ms. [redacted], I hope this answers all of your concerns as outlined in your complaint filed with the Revdex.com.
Sincerely,
ACCLAIM CREDIT TECHNOLOGIES
[redacted]
President

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/03/23) */
Ms. [redacted]'s account was reported to the credit bureaus on February 1, 2014. It was not until February 3, 2016 that her account was paid-in-full.
However, as she has paid her account in full, and the balance was so small, we have elected to...

remove this account completely from her credit file. The request to remove her account was done today. She should allow the credit reporting agencies a couple of months to process our request, although it should not take that long.
As a point of information, she did not need to file a complaint with your agency. A letter to our company would have resulted in the same positive outcome.

Mr[redacted]'s account (Agency # 635957) was assigned to our company
on January 17, The name of the original credit is Pacific Centrex Datavo,
also known as PCSThey are located at:
[redacted] E [redacted] St Suite A
Santa [redacted], CA [redacted]
His account, as of
today, has a balance still owing of
$This amount has not been paid
During the course of our collection efforts, Mr[redacted] was
mailed letters on January 19, and March 2, Phone attempts were made
on January 26, 2011, April 13, 2011, May 3, and May 18, Messages
were left on his recording device on each of these attempts to reach him by telephone
No calls were ever returned
In his letter to your office, he claims he did some quick
searches on our company and found negative informationMost people will find negative
information on most collection agenciesIt is the nature of our businessI would
encourage Mr[redacted] or anyone reviewing this complaint to look a little
further into the handling of each complaint filed against our companyThere
are always two sides to any dispute and reviewing how our company handled each
dispute should speak volumes to the integrity of our company and its employees
We do everything possible to resolve complaints or disputes that can be
resolvedThey cannot always be resolved when the solution they are looking for
is not possible
In the case of Mr[redacted], I have completed a thorough
review of his accountAlthough he does still in fact owe this balance, and although
our company did what we could to contact him, his account is now almost six
years oldAlthough an account can be reported for up to a maximum time of
seven years, I am instructing all credit reporting agencies to delete his
accountIn this specific situation, I believe a courtesy deletion is an
appropriate resolution to this dispute

There was a further conversation with Mr. [redacted] yesterday. Our company mailed a letter offering him a settlement if the amount of the settlement is paid by February 9, 2018.This should bring this mater to a satisfactory resolution as this does give him the additional time he requested and our offer...

was communicated to him via US mail.
