Acclaim Management Group Reviews (3)

Acclaim was not aware the Association had not received the April and May bank statementsThey have been emailed again to the new management company requesting an email confirming receiptAs for the $balance on the operating account, sounds like items that had not cleared the bank
account and never cleared out of reconciliationThe Association has all financials, all monies and all reportsThe financials produced by Acclaim were approved by the Board

Here is Acclaim Management Group's response to her allegations:          1. A Board member of Southgate II has taken responsibility for the website and it is under construction at this time.  However, the Association is not even required to have a website and...

information any homeowner desires may be obtained by contacting Acclaim to provide that information to them, so long as it is not privileged information.          2. The Association is not required to provide a newsletter nor is Acclaim contractually obligated to create a newsletter.  Any homeowner may request financial information at any time and it will be mailed to them.  The Association is not required, nor is Acclaim contractually obligated to mail financial statements to homeowners without request.          3. Acclaim is enforcing the CC&R's pursuant to the instructions of the Board.  Ms. [redacted] is not a member of the Board and therefore cannot instruct Acclaim relative to the severity and frequency of violations to homeowners.   The current president of the Board of Directors at Southgate II Homeowners Association is Mr. [redacted].  Mr. [redacted]'s phone number is [redacted]. and his email address is [redacted]  His physical address is [redacted]  I made Mr. [redacted] aware of Ms. [redacted] Revdex.com complaint and he will gladly verify what I am telling you.  Further, Mr. [redacted] stated that he has never heard from Ms. [redacted] but he has heard from Ms. [redacted] neighbors complaining about Ms. [redacted] barking dogs and the stench coming from the dog feces that has accumulated in her yard.   I trust now that you are privileged to the facts of this complaint, wrongfully lodged against Acclaim Management Group, that this matter will be dismissed in favor of Acclaim Management Group.   Respectfully submitted,   [redacted] Acclaim Management Group

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute. THIS Revdex.com COMPLAINT IS NOT RESOLVED AND I HAVE NOT BEEN CONTACTED DIRECTLY. Your temporary solution to my questions is to contact you directly if I need any information.  We did contact your representative and never received any response back from [redacted] When we signed the contract with your company in October 2011 you said you would take care of our website, CC & R violations, newsletter and do accounting for us.  1.  I understand that you say the website is under construction and being updated by a board member, but it does not state that information on the website directly. By the way, your company should be taking board meeting minutes and noting on website date and time when these meetings are being held.  A website is a requirement in this society to keep people informed even if you think it is not necessary. 2.  Acclaim may not be contractually obligated to mail out a newsletter or financial statements to homeowners, but you should want to keep us informed if you want to have the neighbors involved in our community. 3.  If Acclaim is only taking direction from the board as to what CC&R’s are followed, then what is the point to you driving through the neighborhood to look for violations?  Or what is the point for any violations to be reported to you on the ACC form online if it will not be taken care of unless the board deems it necessary?  We currently have huge RV's, trailers, boats, lawn mowers, ATV’s parked in driveways in violation and some people with dead bushes and trees in their yard.  4. Whether or not my dog barks or his poop stinks is totally irrelevant as to your company's lack of responsiveness to HOA members valid concerns or to whether you company is performing its job as promised. As a matter of fact, when inquiries were made as to the status of legitimate violations continuously occurring in our neighborhood, we were told that violation information was confidential and restricted to protect the privacy of the homeowner.  It now appears your company has decided that its policy allows it to disclose violations, real or imagined, publicly on an open internet forum.  While your actions are regrettable, they do appear to be consistent with your company's overall poor and unsatisfactory performance. I recommend anyone looking for background information on this company also search for them on YELP.  I wish we had done so. Lastly, it would be easier if you would just do the property management job we hired you to do in the first place instead of making excuses and blaming any problems on the board of directors.  It appears that your job is to collect our $225 a year for each of 110 homes and mow the five common lots at a premium amount and anything else is just gravy.
Regards,
