Account Control Technology, Inc.

This agency is horrible. I have tried calling their number infinite amount of times, and all I get is an endless loop with their automated system in which it asks me to enter my social security number, I enter it, I hear a ring, and then it sends me right back and asks for my social security number. I have emailed them and have not gotten responses. I had to contact the Department of Education to ask for alternative methods of contact of Account Control Technology(ACT), and both numbers given to me by the agent of the Department of Education resulted in the same frustrating, pointless call. \r\n\r\nAll in all, this company feels like a scam. Fortunately, the lady at the Department of Education could reassure me that they had my payments registered in the system, and that was when she also told me that I hadn\'t signed a Rehabilitation Agreement letter, which would actually make my payments matter. This was another matter that was hidden from me by ACT.

Tonight I decided to get my life back on track and take care of my student loan debt. I called Account Control Technology, Inc. and got GREG.

Initially, Greg was seeming to be very professional and collected all the pertinent information regarding me and my loan. Then he asked what my income was.

I explained to him that I was self-employed and that I would have to calculate some things to get an accurate figure. I told him of my income from last year but he stated he needed this month's current amount.

I tried to quickly gather the information but was having difficulty in getting all the figures. He kept telling me that I was missing something because I had too much money left over and asked what I was doing with all of that left over money. This went on for several minutes.

He just kept telling me to estimate. I explained that I didn't know how to estimate it because the figures change monthly. He then proceeded to give me the definition of estimate. I thanked him for the lesson and told him he was being an A$$ and asked to speak to his supervisor.

He said, "it is 8:32 and all the supervisors are home with their families. We have been on the phone for 20 minutes and you can't give me your information. What are you trying to hide."

I let him know that I needed to call back tomorrow so that I could have time to get the correct information together and he stated that they would be asking me for the same information tomorrow. (I am sure they will be but will they yell at me to ESTIMATE!)

I will be calling back tomorrow, prepared with my financial records and WILL speak to a supervisor!
