I am rejecting this response because: the idea that A.I.M. Corp is polite to the people it contacts is ridiculous. When I explained to Serenity, who didn't use her last name in contacting me, despite the fact that she had my home address, my personal cell phone, and my last name, that I didn't owe money to anyone, she snorted. That snort caused me to hang up the phone. I just couldn't take it--and I didn't have time to deal with what I thought was obvious crime. In fact, I came very close to hiring a lawyer and am relieved that I was able to resolve the issue without spending money on it.
To reiterate my point in perhaps more articulate prose, I didn't have the patience to put up with the attitude from the workers of A.I.M. The letterhead for this company looks fake, the correspondence they send is cryptic, and all I could think was that I was being set up for fraud. The bank in Wyoming, where I no longer had an account--and where I no longer live--had never informed me that they thought I had a debt, and the whole process of communication with A.I.M. seemed to me bogus and designed to harass. A.I.M. Corp should rethink its approach to contacting people, because few aspects of their style suggest anything other than a kind of "phishing" scam, except that they use the phone and snail mail. It was never clear in the correspondence that my old bank had legitimately contacted them in order to seek compensation for a debt. One of my suspicions was that A.I.M. had bought wholesale a supposed mass of "debt data" and was simply testing to see if I would be gullable and pay what I don't owe.
I accept no fault for being rude to the workers of A.I.M. Corp and on behalf of the other people whom this company harasses, I insist on the company's bad behavior, which merely provoked from me as good as they were giving. Professionals write like professionals, they have an answering machine with office hours listed, they leave messages like professionals, and they don't snort when informed of a fact. Furthermore, should A.I.M. Corp require a title for me, the best form of address is "Dr." or "Professor" and not "Ms." I usually don't care about my title and almost never use it, but I saw that the A.I.M. Corp had indeed read "Dr." as listed on the Revdex.com email. That blithe refusal to show respect, however small the gesture, continues to indicate to me that these people are an unprofessional outfit and accustomed to leaning on the vulnerable, who can't fight back. I can, and with this email as a gesture of defiance, I will. Of course, I don't want anything more to do with A.I.M. Corp. and I wish they had never contacted me in the first place. But if some good is to come of this waste of time, I hope my complaint stands as a precedent for the next person who has to add tasks to an already busy schedule to deal with A.I.M. Corp's nonsense.

Re: ID # [redacted] - [redacted]
Dear Revdex.com: Ms. [redacted]'s account was assigned to our agency for collection and a validation notice was sent to her current address. In...

this letter, it was explained who turned her account over to us and for how much as well as her rights to dispute said account in writing to us so we can validate the account with our client. Ms. [redacted] did contact our office via telephone calls and was rude to my collectors and hung up on them each time before they could tell her her rights in disputing the account. At this point I made a telephone call to our client to find out what was going on with the account and left a message for them to contact me. In the meantime, we received this dispute through your company from Ms. [redacted]. After receiving a call back from our client, they indicated they had turned her account to our office in error on their part and the account has been cancelled back to our client with no credit reporting action taken.
If Ms. [redacted] would have followed directions and been more polite to our company, this could have been resolved in a more timely fashion. We are a licensed collection agency and all of our letters have been approved by the Collection Agency Board and axe in accordance with the FDCPA, therefore they are not harassing in any means. Again, this matter could have been resolved without all this if Ms. [redacted] would have followed her rights as explained to her in the letter sent to her. Other people do follow the rules and get their accounts resolved in a more civilized matter than this.
I expect this to be dismissed as no wrong doing on our part and I hope Ms. [redacted] is less stressful at this point. Sincerely, Brian M[redacted] V.P. A.I.M., Corp.

I received notice of a collection account with A.I.M. on 2/27/15. By 3/3/2015 this business was calling me at work wanting to know where payment was. I never received a call at home or on my cell. He called my employment several times with a risk of me getting fired. I know they can eventually call if no contact is made through home or cell, but that was NOT done.

The family member came to our office and made a payment and a receipt was given to the family member. A wrong balance was inadvertently put on the receipt due to the fact that another account on Ms. [redacted] was entered into our system and automatically packeted with the current account she was making payments on. No other information about the other account was disclosed to the family member and once it was brought to our attention we unpacketed the other account and Ms. [redacted] is now making payments on both accounts, while the family member is making payments on the first account they are responsible for. The family members were not listed on Ms. [redacted]'s second bill, nor was the second bill reported to the family members credit report. I checked the family members credit report for our listings and only the first account is being reported, which is correct.  The confidentiality of Ms. [redacted]'s second bill was not disclosed to the other family member, the accounts have been unpacketed per Ms. [redacted]'s request and she is currently making payments on both accounts.
If Ms. [redacted] chose to disclose her second bill to the family member, that is her choice, but we did not and ask that this matter be closed with no wrong doing by our company. [redacted] V.P. A.I.M., Corp.
