Review: I have been going round and round with these people. O have state insurance and this was regarding my son years ago. I never received anything from anyone then they start calling and yelling at me. Cant provide me with a name and number to doctors office. Since this was not my mistake. I cant understand them. I even went to the hospital who handles billing to see if she could speak with them. She was yelled at and asked me to leave. So it will drop off my credit then 6 months later they put it back kn. I dont feel I should pay something I cant even get any information on. So I need help. I have no bad marks on my credit except these people and I cant resolve. Account Recovery Service, Inc. went OUT OF BUSINESS on 8-1-2014.he accounts that we had were sold to Financial Control Solutions in Germantown, WI 53022. We requested and received confirmation from all 3 major credit bureaus that the accounts that we had placed with them to enter into the consumers credit files be deleted from the consumer files, therefore I am not sure how this person found any information regarding ARS, Inc. in their file as of the date of her complaint. I did checked the old files and found one debtor that lived in Genoa City, WI. The account was dated 6-28-2004 and was purged out of our system. We did have 1 open account that was purchased by FCS, that account lived in Waukesha, WI the DOB of that person was 03/06/xxxx and the last 4 of the SS# are 1850. Our last notes in this file are dated 9-27-2012.I am not sure I can be of any more help. PresidentAccount Recovery Service, Inc.

Review: On 12/01/2010 Account Recovery opened an account against me. I did not know about the bill right away as they were sending it to an address in which I was no longer living. When I finally checked my credit reports I was shocked and ashamed. I IMMEDIATELY called Account Recovery to talk with them. I told them I would pay the bill right away and the representative I talked to said they would delete the trade line on all three of the Credit Bureaus once I paid.

I paid my bill and Accounts Recovery did not honor the agreement to erase the negative information. I have written several letters to them over the past year and they have failed to answer me.

I am deeply upset by this companies unethical business practices. After I paid the bill they have disgarded me as well as the promises they have made to me. I am deeply upset by the companies ethics and conduct.Desired Settlement: I would like Account Recovery to honor their agreement to me. Account Recovery should delete the trade lines and the negative information from the three credit bureaus as promised.

I do apologize for the delay in responding to this complaint. I just missed it when I was going through my emails on the 10th, must have been "one of those days".

What did take me some extra time is that the recording of the conversation that Mr. Pipkin had with my PM Supervisor. Ms. Norris was not attached to the account and if you wish I can wave it to you for your listening pleasure.

There was NO PROMISE to delete the account from ANY one of the three major Credit Bureaus. He was told that the account would be reported as Paid In Full, he was also told that our client does not want us to do that.

He did request a receit and that was sent to him on 7-30-2013.

The actual reason for his complaint is that he wants to get this entry off of his credit bureau.

If he would like to call me directly or stop in my office I will be happy to play the recording back so he can hear that what he is telling you is a lie.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. I could care less about the credit report, I just wanted information to be correct and valid. Calling people liars is no way to run a business. I have remained civil and have taken appropriate steps. If I misunderstood the conversation I do apologize but when I called for clarification on the matter all I got was a receipt.
