The consumer called ARC on 4/7/and ARC explained the account history, balance due, who the creditor was, and the credit reporting process. The consumer thanked ARC so much for all the information. When ARC asked if the consumer was handled in a professional manner, the consumer commented “You were fantastic.” The consumer wanted to be sure she had the right information indicating that she believed she paid the creditor; however, she was going to call the creditor immediately. The creditor called ARC on 4/7/indicating they had clarified to the consumer there was a balance due on the account. The consumer had paid part of the balance but not the entire account balance. Upon hearing the clarification from the creditor, the consumer paid the account in full on 4/7/to the creditor. Account Resolution Corporation (ARC) received this complaint *** on 2/9/17. The consumer indicates in the complaint that ARC concluded via a dispute that the debt was invalid and removed it from the credit reporting agencies in September 2016. Consumer indicates the account
was reinserted to Equifax credit report and the consumer was not notified. The consumer requests the account be removed from the credit reporting agencies and not reinsertedThe account was placed for collection at ARC on 4/1/15. The account was originally submitted to the credit reporting agencies on or around 7/5/15. ARC received a dispute on the account in May and updated the credit reporting agencies that the account was disputed. ARC has never concluded the debt was invalid and removed from the credit reporting agencies. On 12/5/16, ARC received a fax from the consumer indicating the account was disputed and the consumer refused to pay this account. This refusal to pay requires our office to cease communication with the consumerARC has reviewed the account in question with the creditor and communicated the complaint. The creditor indicated the consumer was sent bills for one year and the creditor never heard from the consumer regarding this account. The creditor indicated for the account in question no insurance coverage was available. Creditor checked Medicaid eligibility again and the consumer was not eligible for this date of service in question. The creditor provided itemization of charges and supporting documents including signatures and driver’s license. On 2/21/17, ARC mailed these supporting documents to the consumer for the limited purpose of responding to the dispute and was not an attempt to collect the debt. *** P***, Jr., President of ARC would typically reach out to a consumer to discuss the complaint. As it relates to the consumer’s request that the accounts be removed from credit reporting, ARC would like the consumer to know that the policy of ARC is to credit report accurately. The complaint also references that ARC failed to notify consumer about reporting derogatory information and commercial law (not applicable because this is consumer debt) was broken because notices were not timely and certifiedThe account was placed in our office on 6/30/identifying the consumer and the consumer debt at a Missouri address and an initial letter was sent in a timely manner on 7/2/that contained the necessary disclosures per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)Neither the FDCPA or Missouri state law have any requirement that requires notification related to "derogatory information" or certification of letters as it relates to the collection of consumer debt

On 5/11/17, Account Resolution Corporation (ARC) received Revdex.com complaint # ***. The consumer in the complaint indicates that she paid accounts at ARC and was told the accounts would be removed from her credit. The desired resolution is a correction to her credit
report and a refund of 25% for taking so much of her time. On 4/21/17, the consumer called ARC and inquired about some open accounts. The consumer asked a variety of questions around credit reporting. The consumer was told the accounts would be removed from credit reporting. ARC did not provide a time frame for the removal from credit reporting. The consumer called back on 4/24/to pay the accounts in full. The consumer asked credit reporting questions and was told the accounts would be removed. The consumer continued to ask credit reporting questions and was transferred to a Quality Assurance Representative (QAR). The QAR answered her questions and explained how the accounts would report and that ultimately the removal of the accounts would occur in approximately 60-days. The accounts would be reported for April, May, and June and that our office would no longer credit report (a request for deletion) for the accounts as of 7/3/because of the accounts in a return status to the creditor. A request for deletion of the accounts based on the return status would be submitted to the credit reporting agencies on 7/3/17. The consumer called back on 4/25/17, 4/27/17, 4/28/17, and 5/5/requesting specific letters on these accounts and clarifying the credit reporting. Multiple ARC representatives were involved in the process to explain and provide requested letters. Initially the consumer requested a paid in full letter and then subsequently requested a letter with language that detailed the credit reporting process. The consumer was sent paid in full letters on 4/28/and 5/1/17. After the call on 5/5/17, it was determined the consumer needed the credit reporting policy letter and that was sent to the consumer on 5/8/17. The consumer was told on the call on 5/5/to call back if she needed another letter. ARC has not heard back from the consumer at this point. *** ** *** **., President of ARC attempted to contact the consumer on 5/23/and 5/24/regarding the complaint and to ensure the consumer had the necessary letters, however, MrHill was not able to reach the consumer. As ARC wrapped up multiple calls with the consumer, ARC did ask the consumer if they felt they were handled in a professional manner and the consumer responded yes. Sometimes the wording on letters to explain the account history or satisfy third parties such as lenders can require much back and forth customization. ARC does want to be sure the consumer has the desired letter. If the consumer does not and reaches out, ARC will continue to work with the consumer to address this. ARC does not feel the request for a refund of 25% is necessary. Often times, the customization of letters can require some back and forth communication with the consumer ARC is available to discuss the complaint at any point in time with the consumer. Since the credit reporting appears to be accurate, the consumer has paid the accounts, the consumer has received requested letters, and the accounts are now closed at ARC, ARC considers the complaint resolved and no further action necessary. If you or the consumer have any additional questions, please contact our office. Absent receipt of information to the contrary, our office will consider the complaint resolved. Thank you. full for his accounts. He further indicates his Mom called a year ago regarding this account should be closed. He comments that he disputed these as closed and a response was received from ARC in error. The consumer would like the issue fixed and resolved. He asks that the accounts be removed from his credit report. He would like to be contacted why this has not been updated and why there is a hold up. ARC shows no record of calls from the consumer’s mother related to the accounts. ARC also shows no record of disputes received from the consumer. Since the accounts have been with ARC while there have been attempts to reach the consumer, ARC has had no contact with the consumer or a third party on the accounts. Upon receipt of the Revdex.com complaint on 7/19/16, the President of ARC, *** ** *** **attempted to call the consumer. Mr*** was unable to reach the consumer. ARC contacted the creditor regarding the accounts. The creditor indicated that the consumer had indeed paid $in March 2015. The creditor had reported a payment of $in March but failed to report to ARC the $payment from March which would have paid the account in full. The other $account was placed in error by the creditor as a duplicate account. The creditor advised ARC to remove the accounts from credit reporting. On 7/19/16, ARC submitted a request for deletion of the accounts to the credit reporting agencies. ARC also mailed to the consumer letters that document the accounts are closed and will be removed from credit reporting. Mr*** is available to discuss the complaint at any point in time with the consumer. Since the accounts are resolved, the consumer’s desired resolution was met, and ARC explained what happened, ARC considers the complaint resolved. If you or the consumer have any additional questions, please contact our office. Absent receipt of information to the contrary, our office will consider the complaint resolved. Thank you. Sincerely, *** ** *** **.President

I am rejecting this response because:I DID respond to mr ***s email and demanded they remove any account that has my name attached to it fro breech of HIPAA, noncompliance to reporting laws (FCRA) and complete disregard to FDCPA lawsHE NEVER EMAILED BACKI THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS TO LEGALLY HAVE ANY OF MY INFORMATION OR PROOF OF LEGALLY POSSESSING, COLLECTING AND REPORTING AN ACCOUNT IN MY NAMEInstead he responds he tried to get ahold of me and I did not repoly??? How insultingTHIS is EXACTLY how it proves clear and ACCURATE THIS AGENCY LIES AND IS NOT OBEYING THE LAWS! He claimed he never got a cease and desist???? How convenient!! ANOTHER LIE!!!! This is complete and utterly unprofessional behavior and in complete disregard to the FDCPAHe wants a phone number in his email to me????? THEY ROBO call me all the time!!! An account number he asks for???? What a slap in the faceThis is obvious attempt to play dumb and act like they have no clue what I am talking about when it is right on my credit with some fake account number the CRA's make up for the consumers protectionSo REALLY? This *** *** has the NERVE to insult my integrity and not just follow the laws of cease and desist and stop all calls, letters, communication, collection and reporting to the cra's.This and every response will be uploaded to every blog I can find to show just how sorry this agency is and how they throw their collection accounts on credit reports not even knowing who the person isOBVIOUSLY if Mr *** *** doesn't know my phone number and can lie about emails he sent and were never replied to, he can admit this is ILLEGAL and stop the harassment and remove the account from my credit
Sincerely,
*** ***

On 3/16/17, Account Resolution Corporation (ARC) received Revdex.com complaint # ***. The consumer in the complaint indicates he has not been in the hospital or to an imaging center in the last years. He further indicates he never received a validation letter from
ARC. He believes the account was reported to the credit reporting agencies inappropriately. He would like this account corrected at the credit reporting agencies. The consumer is referencing an account placed in our office for collection on 11/22/16. ARC sent an initial letter out on 11/23/that contained notice of the debt and the consumer’s right to dispute the account. The letter provided contact points at ARC by telephone, email, and website. The letter was not identified as a mail return so it appears it was delivered. ARC has not received any inbound communication from the consumer outside of this complaint. Upon receipt of the Revdex.com complaint on 3/16/17, ARC requested validation of the account from the creditor and mailed to the consumer. Upon receipt of validation documents, the consumer called ARC on 3/20/and paid the account in full. The consumer was mailed a paid in full letter on 3/20/17. A request to update the account as paid in full with the credit reporting agencies was made on 3/26/17. Mr*** and ARC are available to discuss the complaint at any point in time with the consumer. Since the credit reporting appears to be accurate, ARC updated the credit reporting agencies on 3/26/that the account was paid in full, the consumer has received validation and paid the account and the account is now closed at ARC, ARC considers the complaint resolved and no further action necessary. If you or the consumer have any additional questions, please contact our office. Absent receipt of information to the contrary, our office will consider the complaint resolved. Thank you. Sincerely, *** ** *** ***President
