January 26, 2016Thank you for getting us the information on this complaint. Up to getting your second notice, we had received no information from the Revdex.com, the manufacture ([redacted]), nor the customer about this complaint. I am not sure when the clock starts ticking, but we wanted to try and resolve...
this very unfortunate situation before the clock ran out.After being brought up to date on the complaint, we feel with 100% confidence that we could solve this problem. My Daughter, Linda, has been in contact with the customer and finds that the customer has lost all confidence in the tankless water heater and issues associated with it.The conversation with the customer was a cordial one and resulted in a mutual agreement being formed. Instead of the suggested refund, we have agreed to remove the offending [redacted] tankless water heater and replace it with an electric tank water heater picked by the customer. This will include removing all the gas work, water plumbing, venting and repairs to the structure to close a venting hole through the foundation wall brought about by the tankless water installation.We will purchase and install an electric tank water heater in a location close to the original electric tank water heater. This includes hooking electrical to the original 30 Amp circuit. I believe this arrangement will offer the customer better value than the refund. She apparently feels the same.I would also like to note that we have been members of the Revdex.com for a good part of thirty years. During this period, we have never received a complaint. Hopefully some credit for the time and effort over this long period devoted to our customers will be recognized.Sincerely,Edward C.President
