Accountingtax.com Reviews (%countItem)

Amazing company. They've been a huge help in growing our company.

I purchased an event from the company and was not given the information to attend the event or a refund of my money.
I attended an online event with Accountingtax.com for a Sales and Systems event and purchased another in person event from them during this event for the SS Promo Tax CFO Marketing Hackathon for $1,000.00.

They took the payment of $1,000.00 on my credit card on May 2, 2019 over the phone. I was at the airport when I gave Joana Almeida (representative for accountingtax.com) my information for the payment and went online the next day to verify the dates for the event. I had texted her that I wanted to purchase the event in July. The event information was removed from the video before they saved it to the portal to review. I sent another text message to Joana to find out when the date of the event would be, she replied that it would be June 19th to 21st and they would send out details for the event soon.

The details never came so I texted Joana for a refund of the money. I then emailed the support team on July 3, 2019 at the company asking for a refund of the $1,000. This turned into a phone call that another representative stated that they would give me access to a Facebook group since there was a problem with this while they figured out what to do. I thought this was a freebie due to their error while they were going to figure out the refund or schedule me in another event. I sent another email on August 23, 2019 asking for the refund again since they had not sent it yet.

They are now trying to say that since they added a course to my portal for Tax Plan A Day that I did not order, approve, or add myself to my portal that they don't owe me the refund. I had ordered another course for them with a new email address at the end of July. They said the issue with me not getting the Tax Plan A Day was because they didn't have that portal at the beginning of July (which they wouldn't have had because they didn't know that email address). I have not looked at the Tax Plan A Day information and do not want it and have told the company and the owners of the company that I will except it as a gift if it stays on my portal.

I have emailed the owners of the LLC, *** and Amanda ***, with all of the backup paperwork proving that the money was accepted by their representative and that I did not receive the email information to the event (with a copy of a previous event that I had purchased and the email information that I should have received for this event) and that I have not accepted the Tax Plan A Day for the payment of $1,000 but will accept it as a gift if it is left on my portal.

They still owe my $1,000 for an in person event that may or may not have happened in June 2019 that they accepted money from me for but have not refunded the money or provided the information to attend the event.

Desired Outcome

I request that the $1,000 be returned to me for the Tax CFO Marketing Hackathon event.

Hi Angie, ***, and Amanda,

I am still waiting for the second $500 that you owe me on the dispute that I filed with the Revdex.com. You stated that if I told them to remove the complaint that you would refund the second $500 of the $1,000 that you owe me for not giving me information on the event that I paid for..

I need the reference numbers for both of the refunds.

The Revdex.com is included on this email. I should not be threatened that I have to remove my status to be able to receive my money back just because it is your policy to have people remove the status in order to receive their money that you owe them. You have had this money for 8 months interest free. Talking to Angie there were an additional 10 people or 10 with me that you held money from until December 30 before you refunded them their money because I guess the event didn't happen. This is something that the Revdex.com should have on file so that others are aware of how you do business.

*** and Amanda you are CPA's and are not living up to the codes of the AICPA. You are teaching other CPA's and EA's that it is a lucrative business to keep people's money that they put down for a deposit that will be returned to them interest free. The only problem is that when people ask you if they should refund the money because they haven't heard back from them you tell them no to keep it, it is a way to make a lot of money. That is not ethical or being honest and true to your client or your potential client. I don't think keeping other people's money for your own gain and a lucrative part of your business is up to code with the AICPA. If you owe someone money you should be paying them back promptly.

To conclude, *** (Revdex.com) my complaint has not been completed and I am having to remove it from your database in order to get my money back due to that being AccountingTax.com's policy. I would not remove the complaint otherwise due to the public needing to be aware of the way they practice business. Please note that there are other claims on accountingtax.com on Revdex.com that state that they have to state it is ok in order to receive their money. This is a policy of accountingtax.com that is not good for the public.

AICPA, please check and see if accountingtax.com are following the correct guidelines for a CPA.

Please find attached a copy of the email where accountingtax.com is requesting the email from Revdex.com in order to process the remaining $500 to me that they owe me wether or not I remove the complaint with Revdex.com,

Thank you

Hi ***,

Accoutingtax.com contacted me and they returned the second $500 to a different credit card then the one that was originally charged for the purchases. They have refunded the complete $1,000.

Thank you

Accountingtax.com charged my account about $1600 after I asked them to rescend the contract. They still have no refunded my money.
They withdrew money on September 5, 2019 for $599
They withdrew money on August 29, 2019 for $599
They withdrew money on August 22, 2019 for $599
They withdrew money on August 15, 2019 for $599

They fast talked and scammed me out of $2,396 within 3 weeks with promises of making thousands of dollars. I am a divorced mom with a child to care for and unemployed.

Desired Outcome

I want a refund of my money.

to me
Accountingtax.com LLC has resolved this issue. They are refunding me 3 payments.

I was never told that there is a nonrefundable policy
On April XX XXXX I spoke to Katie at AccountingTax.Com and registered for a seminar scheduled for May 1 through X XXXX.
A week prior to the seminar I called cancelling due to a scheduling conflict and spoke to Katie who transferred me to Angie, who tried to get me to take another course. I told her I was only interested in this course. She put me on hold and never picked up the phone. I called my credit card company and disputed this charge. They responded to the credit card company saying that they have a non refundable policy and that I never called to cancel
First off I was never told by Katie nor Angie that there was a nonrefundable policy It non indicated on their web site nor on the invoice I received from AccountingTax.com Than they lied saying I never called cancelling

Desired Outcome

I would like them to credit my credit card

to me

Hello ***
It has been resolved They have refunded me half of the initial charge And the balance to be refunded as soon as you will show a resolution of this matter

PS You guys rock I wasn't given the time of day until I posted my complaint on your site

Lets hope they credit me the balance

All my best

The terms of the contract are not being honored.
The terms of Enrollment state if the program is completed in its entirety and the Participant is not satisfied, the company will refund 100% of the money invested. I followed all the terms and made sure I contacted them within 90 days of the purchase date and advised them I had completed the program in its entirety and would like my refund. I spoke with *** and expressed that it was nothing against him but that I was not satisfied with the program. He tried to convince me to stay and at the end of our conversation I told him I still want my refund. I told him that we had a contract and he very rudely told me that he would never write that (100% guarantee) in a contract. He then looked up our contract and started laughing on the phone saying "oh your one of those people". He then began to insult me saying I never intended to follow through with the program and stated if the program is completed in its entirety then my assistant will refund your money. I spoke to his assistant for about the 5th time and let her know that the program had been completed. She told me she would verify and let me know. So I sent her an email for confirmation stating the program was fully complete including all the subsections etc. and she replied in an email stating "I will let *** know of your progress". I still have not received my refund. Also another issue I have is that at the start of the program I was told that I was not going to be charged the second payment of $2,800 until after I was satisfied with the course and they took it out of my account without authorization.

Desired Outcome

I want my full refund of $4,800 as stated on the contract.

We take our customer feedback very seriously and became very concerned when we received the notification of this complaint.

This participant requested a return from his purchase of our program. When the original return request came in, the participant completed less than 5% of the program, and did not abide by the terms of enrollment. Our customer success team worked together with the participant to make sure he received all training and assistance necessary for success.

After 3 different client success calls, the participant decided he did not want to move forward and requested his return. At this point, even though this customer had not abided by the terms of enrollment, we approved a full return.

The return was granted to the participant on 3/20/19. The participant decided to file his complaint on 3/21/19, after he received the full return.

We do appreciate the feedback and understand the participant's concern, however, since he did receive the resolution he wanted, prior to filing the complaint, we feel this complaint should have never been filed.

We wish the best of luck to the participant on his journey to building a successful firm.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
My response to them is this. I was told that I did not have to complete the full course to get a full refund and just to try out the training material they sent through email (see attached email for support). They confirmed in the email that I did not have to complete the full course before I signed but when I tried to get my refund they told me I had to complete the full course to get my refund. They responded to my complaint saying I didn't abide by the terms of enrollment but I did. I have the emails and terms of enrollment to prove it. I did receive partial refund but am still waiting for my $500 fully refundable deposit (don't fall for that). I requested a refund in February (see attached email) and it took them about a month of me calling non-stop (did nothing) and getting the run around until I posted my comment to the Revdex.com that I finally received partial refund. They are saying that I posted my review after getting my partial refund and that is a lie. I posted the comment on the Revdex.com and the next day I received my partial refund. Now they are saying they wont give me the $500 until I take this comment down. I was going to take it down but I just don't trust them to give me my money back after I take my comment down. I do have the contract and emails so I will still be trying to get my money back by other means.

As stated previously, this individual did not abide by the terms of his agreement. However, we decided to approve a full return. In the processing of that return, we mistakenly did not process $500 which was a separate charge from an original deposit that was made.

However, after we processed the partial return, he decided to post a misleading complaint.

As the circumstances had changed, we asked him to remove his complaint and we would process the remaining $500.

He agreed. As soon as his misleading complaint is removed, we will process the final $500 of his return although it is not required per the terms of enrollment and his lack of fulfillment of his duties.

We wish him the best in his future endeavors in growing a firm.

I paid $5000 for a program that resulted in zero return on investment due to over saturation in the market. I requested a refund and was told too bad.
I signed up with Next Level Firms - *** company in August 2018 for the training to start and grow a hyper-profitable accounting and tax firm, with the promise I didn't need any accounting experience and I certainly didn't need to be a CPA. I signed up for the course by paying $5000 and after accessing the course, found it's nothing more than a narrated slideshow presentation. There is no live one-on-one in the course whatsoever. You watch videos comprised of slide presentations and download example content. For $5000, I was really expecting to get a whole lot more than recorded slide shows. Regardless, in good spirit of starting my own business and making thousands of dollars, I began the training.

The main method of the training is marketing by using LinkedIn, making as many connections as possible and spamming the *** out of them with your marketing message. I spend a total of 6 months sending messages to my new connections in LinkedIn. Not surprisingly, most of those messages went ignored with no response, but some did come back with pleasant "no thanks, we already have our accountant". The worst were the ones that came back with replies of, "I'm not sure why I'm receiving similar emails to yours but please stop spamming me" or "please stop contacting me - I'm being spammed with similar messaging" Even better is the "we really need a CPA to work with."

It turns out with the hundreds upon hundreds of people who have paid thousands and thousands of dollars to *** for his training are all learning the EXACT SAME method to find clients. It's no surprise the market is saturated with so many hopeful business owners who take his training while trying to land all the same clients, and constantly spamming all the same people. So when they ask "why am I getting so many of these sales emails??"it could only mean that we're all trying to connect with these people.

After 900 linked in connections, thousands of emails sent with a resulting zero clients, I am giving up on his program and the shattered promise of growing a hyper profitable accounting and tax firm. I've wasted way too many nights over the past 6 months trying for nothing. I reached out to support with a request for a refund because I felt I had zero return of investment but that phone call was demeaning and resulted with: "you need to try harder", "you must be doing something wrong", "you didn't do enough" and you need to complete the program. After asking Angie to please listen when I tole her I'm no longer going to use this program, she only insisted I continue to try harder. Most humiliating, was a couple months ago I tried to make improvement by signing up for a tax workshop, but was told I can pay another $7000 to be in a streaming, yes streaming video of the course." Ultimately I was told simply, "too bad but there are no refunds".

I spent $5000 of my hard earned money to receive decent training but this training did not work. I understand there are many success stories of it working for some, but those are from years ago before the market became saturated. In the group now, there are others who are not making strategy sessions, in niche's that are no longer interested in receiving these marketing emails, and are not being successful as *** explains in his advertising. They are promises that can no longer be fulfilled in a market where too many people are tired of hearing the same messaging over and over.

I would like a refund and this is my final attempt to get it back peacefully. This review with Revdex.com will be the first internet impact, and I will begin leaving reviews everywhere I can find to warn people of the current state of the market and how this program does not consider that market saturation of would-be accounting and tax business owners. I did not receive value from your course and will not be using the methods taught as my new venture will be working in a restaurant kitchen and there is no need for NLF training.

Desired Outcome

I would like my refund of $5000 to be paid back immediately. I would like to have my account access closed and I can be removed from the facebook group as if I never signed up for the course. If I must go to the internet to leave reviews and speak of my experience, I have a feeling it may leave a negative impact on the reputation of NLF. With my $5000 refund, I will never speak negatively of this experience and I will never share this experience with anyone in good faith that NLF continues its success. I'm not wealthy by any means, and that $5000 took a long time to earn. To simply take it from someone in the working class and keep it without results or zero return of investment is unfair and is not a good business practice. Please return my money.
