Appliance repair service fraud. I contacted AA&RR(***) on 11/13/18 and paid $204. Never repaired my microwave and did not refund me my money
I contacted this company on 11/13/19 to repair an Electrolux microwave. *** showed up 2 hours late on saturday 11/17/19. He looks like a mess, does not have a truck, and can mumbles when he speaks.
He told me I needed 2 parts replaced and wanted $204.28 as a deposit to order the parts and return to repair, and total would be $273.41.
I gave him a check for $204.28 on 11/17/19. I was told parts would arrive in 5-10 days.
On 11/29/19, I text him to ask if parts arrived. He tells me parts will be arriving by Dec 7 or 10. On 12/10/19, I text *** again. He tells me one part is back-ordered. On 12/18/18, I text him that I want to know what's going on or my money back.

On 12/21/18, I call *** to verify his story about back ordered parts. I give Electrolux the 2 part numbers he wrote on my invoice. Electrolux tells me that 1 of the parts isn't even for my microwave model. This really solidifies for me that he doesn't know what he is doing.
On 12/21/18, I text *** and ask for my money back. Period. He is nasty with me via text. He tells me he will refund me when he returns the one part he ordered for me and gets the money back, will charge me a $75 diagnostic fee, and refund me the rest.
On 1/8/19, I text *** again and he responds that he has not received the refund yet.
I texted him again on 1/28/19 asking for my refund and letting me know that I will file a police report.
No response from him. His phone is going directly to voicemail.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund of approximately $204.28 less his diagnostic fee of $75 and the shipping it cost for the part which may be a total of $15. So, i'm looking for about $115. And for him to be shut down completely.

came in to fix the washer machine, installed a part which he stated broke the Motor. asked for more money to buy the motor and never showed up
*** came in to fix my mother's washer machine, stated he identified the problem, asked for money to buy the part and we paid him $125 of the part and labor. He came in and installed the part, which he later stated it broke the Motor. He asked for more money ($170 this time) to buy a new motor which we paid him for unfortunately. He never showed up afterwards and did not complete the service he was paid for. He has been giving us the run around for the last month and a half. he stopped answering his phone and communicated rarely via texts with promises that he constantly broke.

when we called him and asked to return the money, he started yelling and screaming on the phone and then hung up. he then sent rude messages with rude statement that he is the "Wrong Guy to *** off"

In short, he is a scam artist, incompetent in fixing appliances, very dishonest, and extremely rude in communicating with customers. He failed to fix my washing machine and refused to return the money.

Desired Outcome

I want a full refund for the total amount that was paid to him uo to date. he failed to conduct the service he was hired for and he should return the money in full.

Failed to fix a simple dishwasher leak after more than a 6 weeks of delays and cashing the checks for service.
Originally reached out to Accredited Appliance & Refrigeration Repair on 7/19. *** checked the dishwasher that evening and diagnosed the problem. He created an invoice and demanded payment for the part. He did not show up with the part until 8/14, whereby he declared the repair complete and left. He did not test the dishwasher. I ran it and it still leaked. He said he needed another part. A week later he still hadn't ordered the part, but blamed me for not authorizing the purchase. He never showed back up and hasn't responded to any messages about the status of the part or the repair.

Desired Outcome

I want my money back. I received no service worth paying for. Whatever part he may or may not have installed he can take back, I don't care.

The complaintant had a leak in his 15 + year old dishwasher. The leak was coming from where the element went through to the underside. The element was installed in the unit. Upon installation we noticed the clips on the underside were not with the old one. We told *** they would have to be ordered. The tie down nut that he was missing off his original we did order at tribbles appliance parts on *** avenue in providence rhode island. They stated upon ordering them the clips were back ordered from the factory. We advised Mr *** of this. Mr *** called an texted my personal number continuously over the first week. He was told the part was factory back ordered but I think he thought we could just invent the part. I explained to him an gave him the option to call the parts company himself. Over the following week Mr *** texts became rude an profane. At this time I told Mr *** who did not pay for the tie down clips he could go to tribbles an pick up his part when it came in to there company.

Dishonest and Incompetent. STAY AWAY.

They charged me $404.03 for to repair a washer (that costs less than $800 to buy new), never finished the repair and cashed my checks.
I contacted the company for a repair of a washer, I had found their ad via craigslist. The person on the phone said that they will come the next day. When the technicians arrived, they said they had found the issue and that I needed to clean the filter and get new agitator. The total cost for that was 230.55, which I paid them via cash. They did some work and said that the washer is fixed and to let it run through a cycle and they left. The washer wasn't fixed though and it showed the same symptoms as before less than 1/2 after they left. I texted the technician who said he will come by that evening.
The technician returned and this time they said it was pump that was broken. The pump they had brought with them wasn't a match so they said it will need to be ordered. He looked up the part on his phone and showed me the part. He said that, the pump replacement with the installation will be 173.75. He said he can pick it up the next day and return for installation and asked for a check in the amount of 173.75 (on top of 230.55 which was paid earlier). I gave them the check.
I texted the technician next day asking for an update on when they will return to complete the repair. He said he will come between 12-1pm the following day.
The following day, I kept waiting and no one showed up. I finally texted the technician around 2pm asking for a status. He said he was on his way to providence to pick up the part and due to traffic he will be delayed. He said there was a major accident and that both 95 and 146 were backed up for miles. I checked the GPS on google maps and found no accident and the traffic appeared to be green in both directions on both roads. I had to leave by 6pm for dinner so I told him that. He said he will try to come before then. I don't hear anything from him until after 5, at which point I text him again and he said he won't make it today and he will try the next day.
I text him that night and he was now claiming that 173.75 was only for the part and not installation. Moreover, he claimed that the part cost 193.75 so I had to pay him more for the part and separately for the installation.
At this point, it was clear to me that I was being scammed and demanded that he return my checks since he hadn't completed the repair work. He became belligerent on text and refused to return my money.

First of all this supposed customer had a drain line an pump clog which was cleared an the error code cleared this was on a thursday. Mr *** then called on that saturday an said his error code had returned. I went back to his location an a error code was present but it also was not the same one. He asked me to order the pump which I did. He callede the following day which was sunday 8 times demanding he be fit in an put first before my already scheduled customers. When he started getting overly ignorant with his comments. I then seeing how WE DO NOT COLLECT LABOR FOR THE JOB TILL AFTER THE INSTALL IS FINISHED. Simply then told him we would drop his part to him an he could find someone else to install it. He then startted making childish comments an I then said to him we will mail it to him. WE HAVE MAILED THE PART TO HIS ADDRESS. I would like to add one more fact that mr pramar left out that even though my company services customers 7 days a week we are not the parts company who most are only open 5 or 6. There was no scam he received his part as well as agreed to any pricing

He didn't diagnose the problem correctly, recommended unnecessary expensive repairs (replacing of agitator) and lied to my face when I asked him how much a similar model costs new. Moreover, he cashed the checks before repairing, knowing full well that he wasn't going to fix the washer anytime soon. To top if all of he was extremely rude and belligerent in his texts (which I have saved for posterity). Contrary to his claims, I have not received any parts from him as of yet.

In summary, he lied, racked up false charges for replacing unnecessary parts and didn't complete the job and to top it all off was insulting in his interaction. He is a dishonest, *** and should not be in business.
