This *** and *** company continues to harass me over a bill that has been paid. They need to check with their client.
I was awaiting a bill from *** of what the balance was after *** paid its portion. I then paid it. In the meantime, this company started harassing me. This company will not listen to reason and continues to harass me for a bill that was already paid. Their people are very *** and *** and act like they are all powerful. I don't want them contacting me again. They should do what they are supposed to, and contact the company and know that the debt is owing before they start harassing people.

Desired Outcome

I want them to stop harassing me. I want on record the lack of professionalism and the harassment this company engages in with the innocent public. I want their record to reflect my complaint.

Accredited Collection Service, Inc. takes any complaint very serious and we do our best to conduct ourselves in a manner which would not create a complaint. We recommend that she contact myself, ***, Executive Coordinator , or ***, CEO to discuss this situation. Please feel free to contact either of us at ***.

Customer Response • Sep 23, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
As you can from their response, this company does not work with anyone to stop their egregious practices against the public. They do not listen to the complainant, nor to the Revdex.com, and probably will not do anything until people who have been affected by their poor practices ultimately gain government intervention. Therefore, I will be getting in touch with the Attorney General's office for the State of ***, and let them handle this problem.

As previously stated, this company is harassing me for payment of a bill to *** which was incurred in ***, and which was paid several months ago.

Isn't it sad that there are businesses that refuse to self-regulate, and insist on refusing to self-police, increasing the need for government intervention. This company contradicts itself even in this short response, insisting that they care about complaints, yet refusing to work with the Revdex.com to resolve the complaint.

I will let you know what the AG's office does in this regard.

I appreciate your attempt at a resolution.

Thank you.

Robbie

I'm not contacting anybody. Under The fair acts credit law they either need to send me original documentation of this bill or remove it from my credit report immediately

THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE IN MY FULL EXPLANATION VIA THE Revdex.com COMPLAINT THAN VIA TELEPHONE. I NEED THE Revdex.com TO INTERACT AS A THIRD PARTY AND I WILL NOT BE CONTACTING ACS. THEY NEED TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE INITIAL CREDITOR ***.

Received threatening letter wherein they acknowledge that they do not have verification of the claim but are attempting to claim but issued the threat
For months *** has harassed me about a bill for which I have never received documentation and for which *** has refused to provide documentation in spite of at least three request, one on the telephone and two in writing. I have no recollection of the charge. Since I have not had a response from *** supporting their charge, it seemed obvious the charge was not owed. Now I receive a letter from Accredited Collection Service, Inc. attempting to collect the undocumented disputed amount. When I asked a man by the name of *** at Accredited Collection Services if he had verification of the claim, he acknowledge he did not. I consider it highly unethical and yes, even immoral, to attempt to collect monies for which you have no proof in your possession that said monies are owed. I think the public should be made aware of the manner in which Accredited Collection Service, Inc. operates: namely to attempt to collect monies for which they have no proof in their possession that said monies are owed. I intend to contact the Secretary of the State of *** about this matter because something obvioudly needs to be done about it. In my case, I also consider it discrimination against the elderly.

Desired Outcome

There are two resolutions I'm seeking. One is that *** supplies documentation for charges they attempt to collect to establish validity, especially after three request. The other is that Accredited Collection Service, Inc. refrains from harassing people for which they have no proof in their possession that monies they are attempting to collect are in fact owed.

Nothing has been done. My complaint specifically indicated two things I would like to see done neither of which has occurred.
