Review: My son [redacted] went to our primary dr for a cyst on his elbow he asked the dr if it is a ganglion cyst she replied no, but I will refer you to a dermatologist to have it removed. He made a appt. with Derm One/Accredited Dermatology for April. The day he was ready to go they called and said the Dr wouldn't be in but they had some one who could help him. My son asked if they were able to remove it and they replied yes but they needed to look at it 1st. When he got there they took his $50.oo co pay and a girl took a picture of it with an I pad and said he needed to make an appt. with the Toms River office that is where he could have it removed. He made the appt. went there on May 6th they told him they were behind in appointments and could he come back in 2 hrs. annoyed but proceeded to do what they asked. He came back 2 hrs later for them to tell him they are still behind and could he come back again. He told them he lived in Barnegat and could they call him when they are ready. after he waited another hour or so they called and he went back to Toms River. The Dr looked at it and told him it is a ganglion cyst and he needed to go to an orthopedic Dr. He went to the orthodedic Dr and he said it wasn't a ganglion cyst, but that he could remove it.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of either the $100.00 dollars I paid them for the 1st visit which was a waist of time and money, and the 2nd visit in which they waisted 3 extra hrs of my sons time and another $50.00 co pay they should be ashamed of their self for this kind of practice. I did notify the billing dept and spoke to [redacted], in which she said she wanted to talk to my son, in which she did. She said she will try to get us a $50.00 refund in which I never heard from her again, and since then have left her another message. I can't believe that they practice like this I gave them $100.00 for nothing plus what they billed the insurance co. And he diagnosed it wrong!

Review: Accredited Dermatology New Jersey, has now changed their business name to [redacted]. I had a scheduled appointment for [redacted] 2012. I arrived at the facility and was seen by a physician in the group of Dermatologist's. My [redacted] provider, [redacted] informed me that this group of doctor's were "in-network" with [redacted] My co-pay was $30, which was paid at the time of the visit. The physician noted on the claim was Dr. [redacted]. [redacted], who was not the doctor that tended to my [redacted] needs. [redacted] denied the claim since the incorrect Tax I.D. was provided to my insurance provider. [redacted] also informs me that Dr. [redacted] did not become an "in-network" doctor until [redacted], 2012, which was after my visit. Since Dr. [redacted] was not the attending physician and the incorrect Tax I.D. was submitted to my insurance company, why does this burden fall into my lap? I have been in contact with Accredited Dermatology's/[redacted]'s billing department at least 5 times over the course of the year since my visit. Accredited Dermatology/[redacted] agreed they had used the incorrect Tax I.D. and advised they resubmitted the claim to [redacted]. Currently, [redacted] is stating that I owe $246.10, as the incorrect Tax I.D. was submitted and Dr. [redacted]'s "in-network" privilege's did not begin until October 15, 2012. Today, I was in contact with [redacted]'s billing department and spoke with a very pleasant young lady by the name of [redacted]. [redacted] pretty much confirmed that all of the above is correct and they are working with [redacted] to get the claim resolved. I see this as a very simple process to correct. Number one, provide [redacted] with the correct Tax I.D. in so that it is not rejected and include a physician from within the group who is, "in-network" with [redacted]. It's the typical "red tape" that the middle class have to struggle with!Desired Settlement: I simply want Accredited Dermatology/[redacted] and [redacted] to get their "act" together and get this claim paid!
