Review: Paid 3,995 for help with second mortgage but unable to contact anyone, no one returns email or answers phones

I was contacted by Home Remedy about helping me reduce rate and or balance on mortgage in june 2013, I talked to [redacted] in depth about it and she gave me great confidence they could help. I sent them two checks each $1,997.50- 1st Payment dated 06/07/13

$1,997.50- 2nd Payment dated 07/19/13, they were calling me all the time checking on paper work and status before they received the last check but after that it was like pulling teeth to get a hold of someone. I was finally able to talk to [redacted] and [redacted] @ ###-###-####. I let them know I was getting nervous because of how hard it was to contact them but once again they assured me everything is on track. I just received a letter from my bank giving me 10 days to respond so I went to send them the letter the bank sent me and I never heard back so I tried calling but all phones lines are down and the website no longer exist. Im now trying every number and email address I ever had trying to get someone but as I write this I get no answer or reply.
