I received the below email regarding my complaint my question is as… why this would be closed when the attached was their response showing they have a car fax with no accident information at all… I stated we were verbally told about an accident …they provided paperwork stating this is what was shown to us (which in fact it wasn’t) but also shows there’s no accident information provided….proving my claim that this was never dislocsed I would think?

After reviewing the letter and claim through the Revdex.com I really need to clarify the facts of this particular purchase and dispute this particular customer’s claims.
 
The customer was advised that the vehicle had been in an accident, this was also mentioned to...

her father who was actively involved in the purchase. The customer did know the amount of damages and there was a [redacted] in the file that we the dealer had printed off in December of 2014 and provided in February of 2015 when the vehicle was purchased.
The customer is being misleading and inflammatory in regards to this deal. The vehicle was not sold for over $22000, it was actually discounted because it had been in an accident and was sold for under $15000 before tax. The customer opted to purchase additional protection on her loan (Extended Warranty and Walkway Coverage) options presented to her and agreed to her prior to signing the deal. This combined with the tax is what brought the value to over $22000.
Now because she is unhappy with a trade in value at another dealership she is trying to reverse a decision she made almost 3 years ago while trying to get out of a loan 3 years early.
Unfortunately, the market value does not need to match what a person owes on their vehicle and once again it is the customer’s decision to proceed with a purchase somewhere else or not.
This customer purchased our vehicle because it was much lower in price than other dealerships when her and her father priced the vehicle and all facts were disclosed at the time.
As I personally had originally mentioned in a response to this customer, there is nothing to resolve or discuss, she and her father did their due diligence at the time and proceeded with this purchase knowing all the facts. I am sure this customer should issue an apology to us for slandering us on [redacted] and misrepresenting the facts involved.
