Is this a serious complaint? I am not sure what we did wrong and or why she waited 10 months to complain. [redacted] has never been in my shop prior to or after 12-14-2016. I can not remember at all what happened on the day of 2-14-2016 but what I do know is I have a bill that shows [redacted]...
brought her 2003 VW jetta into my shop on 12-14-2016 at 7:45 A.M. We did a simple electrical system test. We replaced her battery. We charged her $60 to check the electrical system and replace a new battery----that sounds like a very fair price to me. We also charged her $66.31 for a battery. Try to find a battery for $66.31-GOOD LUCK. The total bill including tax came to $133.44. We delivered the car on the exact same day. I looked back at my schedule on 12-14-2016 and it looked extremely full that day. Middle of winter. No appointment. busy day. I think we did a great job and could not have done better. I am sorry but I truly do not know how or why M [redacted] has any complaint. I do not feel that this complaint is justified and am not willing to refund any money. Tom at Bonfe's Auto
The owner had the car towed to another Body shop because she was not agreeing on the amount of time it was taking to fix her car. The car was undrivable when it was towed to us and it was a very large repair. We had delays waiting for parts and the insurance company. We had the vehicle approx 80%...
completed when she decided that was enough time that she was going to allow us and then she sent a tow truck for it. I can not appologize to her enough but Car repairs of this kind of damage take more then a few weeks to complete. We have reimbursed the insurance company with a check for the amount that was not completed.
