I am rejecting this response because:
I don't find it right that I had to take out a loan to pay down most of my balanceIf I was made aware by my family doctor that your company was out of network, I would have never done business with youI am not going to be able to pay the rest in one shotWould I be able to make fifty dollar payments to pay it down? I would call back and talk to someone but, I don't want to be treated like garbage by your customer serviceLike I was the first two times I called to try to resolve this and actually get one a payment plan

In response to the complaint from [redacted], her account was delinquent from...
November 2013 when we originally received notice that [redacted] received checks from her insurance. Our policy states that after 6 consecutive months off failure to pay or set up a payment plan, we will submit a claim to court in order to receive payment from the patient. [redacted] received over 20 invoices from us as well as several phone calls according to our records. Also [redacted] did receive notice of a court date via certified mail. lf the paperwork was not delivered the courthouse would have not schedule a court date, for which we have supporting documentation from the courthouse in [redacted], NJ. Please see it attached. Every invoice for services rendered that ACCU Reference issues has a breakdown of charges, payments, adjustments and the balance owed.
The payments received from Mrs. Alfaro‘s husband have been documented and posted on August 25, 2014 well past her court date of July 14, 2014. ACCU Reference policy is if the
patient calls and makes payment in full or attempted payment prior to the court date then we remove our claim in court, which [redacted] did not do for the account that was taken to court. Finally, ACCU Reference did not place a lien on her bank account; it was placed by the court in order to retrieve payment for services rendered. The bank fees placed on her
account are done so by the bank and not by ACCU Reference, which is an issue that should be taken up with her bank. ACCU Reference only asked that she forward payment that was issued by her insurance company, and we would accept that as payment in full. At this time ACCU Reference will not be issuing a refund and is taking all legal action to retrieve money still owed for services rendered which have been approved by her insurance company. We would be more than happy to work with [redacted] to resolve the balance of$127.97 and lien once she sets up a payment plan or makes payment in full.
The above referenced complaint is closed in our systems, as the patient now has a $0.00 balance with ACCU Reference. Please note however the patient did not receive a bill for $2,159.51 that...
was the amount billed to the insurance company. Originally the patient was receiving a bill for the out of network deductible that was assessed by his insurance provider. After he had spoken to his carrier and submitted this complaint on 5/15/15 his insurance carrier reprocessed the claim and sent us a check dated 5/17/15.
