I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I am not satisfied because:
The business should not have told us to come in if they knew that they were short on staff members that day.
The man who did my nails said people had called in sick, etc that dayIt looked like they were in a "Sweat shop"
It seemed like they only cared about the cash to be made and not the customer.
I know for a FACT that the other nail salons I have been to have never used a drill on my polish to remove itIt was more than just my thumb, it was several nails involved.
I was polite but insistant I have never walked out of a business before and you have no idea the courage it took
for me to do that and stand up for myself

I am writing in response to the received complaint. I remember this customer well, first she called me to tell me that her gel has started to chip and that here daughter-in-law had already gone somewhere else to get hers fixed. She wanted to come in to have hers...
fixed here, I told her to come in and I will fix it. When she came in only her thumb was chipped in the corner, the rest of the nails were fine, and looked beautiful. I asked her to sit down at my sisters chair so Loi could take off the old polish. She told us not to use the machine on her nails, I explained that in order for the acetone to work we need to scuff the top of the gel so it can go through the polish otherwise it takes a long time to work. She got upset about the machine and got up and told me that she wants all of her nails redone., and I told her only one nail is chipped, the rest of them look beautiful why do you want them all done? That is when she said she wanted her money back, I did not say anything and she got really mad and left. We try to please every customer and I understand that sometimes that is not possible, I have been in this business for a long time and I understand. I tried to help this customer but it seemed that she didn't want my help I offered to fix the nail and she wanted me to redo all of them, there was no reason for it. I don't think I should be responsible financially for her and her daughter-in-law because they wouldn't let me fix them first. I was pleasant, and really tried to help but it seemed that she was already upset and wouldn't listen. Sincerely Denise [redacted]
