AccuOne Financial Reviews (%countItem)

Since March 23rd, 2019, Accuone Financial has had my *** under possession with promises to pay a total of $445 a month to the leasing company. In addition, Accuone stated that they will pay me a total of $2,000 as an incentive for allowing them to purchase the car. The company promised to pay the car in full within 6 months. It has been 9 months and I have yet to receive any payment to the car or payments from the incentive that they promised. My license has been suspended, my credit has been messed up due to the false statements from Accuone Financials. I would like this to be solved if not I would like my car back.

I received the *** in June...I noticed that the registration stickers were dated for July 2019; I informed the gentleman Michael T. that they will need to get this straight by the end of July. The vehicle is registered in Maryland under another name; Michael T assured me that it would be handled and I would get the stickers in the mail. I continued to make my payments each month on time and still inquiring about the stickers. Fast forward to September/October. I continued to email and call because now I’m extremely upset ?? as I know that I can no longer continue to drive “my” *** in and around the Philadelphia area or else the car will be confiscated because of no registration and insurance! It’s December and the issue still hasn’t been rectified and they are threatening to repossess “my” *** for non payment because I’m withholding December’s payment until this matter is corrected and I still haven’t heard from anyone at accuone financial!!!!

I contracted my leased vehicle to AccuOne financial. The contract states once they take over the vehicle they are responsible for paying the monthly lease price. for 6 months while trying to sell, then buying out the contract, in addition to paying me a total for $1,700 when all is said and done. They have not made any payment to *** since they took over the vehicle. I have 2 payments on my account that are past due 41 days. I have a mark on my credit report now. I have getting the run around from Michael T for 2 months to tells me every week they are going to pay it and it never happens. I have received no money. I have received 3 speeding citations from the car that still has my plates on it someone else is driving in MD.

Julie M a salesmen from accuone financial promised she could get me a car delivered in 3 days I told her I would her I would sign to lease a car from them only if she could guarantee me the car in 3 days I had to cancel my old insurance and return the car I already had from another dealership so I stressed the fact that if you can't get me the car in 3 days as promised then just tell me because I wont do it. She assured me she would so I sent them my 1000$ down payment to receive the car through a app that they told me to called ***, which I thought was weird but I researched them and I didn't find anything on them scamming people so I sent the money. 3 days came I didn't receive my car so I called julie m*** and she didn't answer at 1st so I emailed her and texted the number she contacted me from and then she finally called me later that day and told me that she was having issues delivering the car and that she now can't do it till next friday, I told her can you just give me a refund she said give me a bit and let me see what I can do, then her boss calls me, his name was Mike T, practically begging to give them more time to deliver the car I said fine ill have to make it work on my end but ill wait till next friday. Next friday came no car came, then weeks went by still no car. I told them to just please give me a refund so then they had some else contact me saying that sense your requesting a refund we can only do half because we already took the ad down for the car online so long story short not only did I not get my money back I didn't even get half of it back and this happened in march 2019 its now July 2019 and now they won't return my calls or emails I can't afford to take them to court right now so now I have no car from them nor do I have the money I sent them someone please help I have emails and texts from them showing that they just kept leading me on basically

Client signed a contract to purchase a car. The terms of the sale were included. The client decided he did not want the car. This caused a loss to the company. As per the terms of sale, we would return the $500.00 good faith deposit to him.

There is a reason for deposits in this industry and that is to insure performance of the buyer. This buyer backed out and therefore forfeited a portion of his payment. This is all in the contract.

I obtained a lease for my 2017 *** from *** on May 2017. After around 6 months I decided to list my car in the *** website to see if I was able to transfer my lease since I was driving a company vehicle and I didn’t need the car. Soon after I found out the Chrysler Financial does not allow for lease transfers. Nevertheless a few days later I got contacted via email by a sales person from AccuoOne Financial. He told me that they were a company that offered "lease management" plans and that they thought my car would be perfect for this program. They initially sent me a Lease Management Proposal, where it outlined the different options I had. I decided to go with option 2, which stated that AccuOne Financial would assume all of the Lease's obligations under the lease, including making monthly payments until such time as AccuOne completes the full buyout of the car (which per the agreement signed was to happen 6 months after the execution of the agreement). AccuOne took possession of my car on December 10, 2018. Ever since that day I have only received one payment from them. I have had multiple attempts to communicate with AccuOne and they all continue to give me the runaround that they are 30-45 days behind on payments. All of the communication has been done primarily via email, because there is really no one that will take phone calls. To make matters worse I know that they have already "sold" my car and that some is driving it, because I have received a bill in the mail for a toll violation in Maryland. I have had to keep paying for the lease even though I do not have the car anymore because I did not want my account with *** to be delinquent. Up to this day they still owe me more than $2000, and now they are telling me that they are sending my case to their "legal" department to resolve my dispute. I have told them numerous times there is no dispute to solve, they just need to make the payment as established in the original agreement, but still I have no answer or solution from them. I have all the initial documents that were signed, plus all the BS emails I have received from them at this point. I also have information from other people that have also been scammed by this company, including the initial sales persons that contacted me from AcuuOne, who no longer works for the company, and has told me they are running a scam. At this point all I can do is try to recuperate my car, and make sure that this company, which supposedly has offices in NY, PA and GA, does not continue to take advantage and scam other people out of their cars. Someone needs to put a stop to this.

I am rejecting this response because: This company is been lying to a lot of people. I tried to talk to Michael T an he keeps making excuses. I schedule to talk to him two times and both of those times he never call me. Also he responded to an email saying that my file is with legal.

No legal department has contacted me form this company and keep in mind that it's been two months that legal was supposed to contacted me.

This company is a fraud!!

Within the next week or so, a Civil Complaint is being filed by our legal department in Philadelphia Civil Court.

*** will be advised on the Complaint and will have an opportunity to come to court to state his defenses.

On August 8, 2018 I signed a contract with AccuOne Financial. The terms were to have AccuOne or their assignee take over my 2014 *** payments, assist me in leasing or purchasing a new vehicle and to help improve my credit score. The company is located in Philadelphia and I am in North Carolina so we corresponded via email/phone to keep on top of the process. Things started off well, initially I was to lease a *** so I filled out the finance application for *** and signed a contract with AccuOne to obtain the vehicle. I repeatedly asked Michael over a couple of weeks what was going on but he told me not to worry and that we were waiting for *** to approve my application. *** never ran the application because I later found out that AccuOne did not ever have possession of the ***. The contract I signed was essentially null and void for this vehicle, there was nothing I could do.

On August 30, 2018, an AccuOne representative assisted me with the purchase a brand new 2018 Mazda CX5. The following months have been filled with excuses from several AccuOne Financial employees as to why I am not receiving any of the contracted terms including payment directly to ***, a monthly credit to lower my payment to $415 p/month or reimbursement of all the payments I made to *** while the vehicle was/is not even in my possession.

Entered into a lease management agreement with this company. They are supposed to take over payments of my vehicle lease for 6 months and then buyout the vehicle after the lease is over. After month 1 payment AccuOne has not made a second payment to *** and now is 2 months past due. I was notified by my credit rating monitoring that these payments were late and now hit my credit report dropping it significantly.

The company has made the relationship with *** right. There was an error in setting his account up but as of now he should be very happy.

AccuOne Financial Response • Oct 31, 2019

AccuOne is very interested in resolving the matter. The Complainant was represented by an attorney at last point of contact. Therefore, his file is with our legal department. Please ask the Complainant's counsel to contact me, and we can setup a discussion with someone is our legal department to work towards a resolution.

I am rejecting this response because:
I have continually reached out to AccuOne and their “legal” department along with my lawyer for the last 6 months with no responses. My vehicle was never paid and was then repossessed by *** leaving me with a large dollar that is owed to *** and also 100 point drop in my credit score. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. No responses and no payments on contracts that were drawn up and signed by AccuOne. Steer clear and don’t trust anything they tel you.

Regards

When I originally signed up for the program; I put down $2860.00 after that I paid $543.66. I received a 2017 ***, I was told by Kelly C, that *** would need an oil change and that it needs to be done immediately and only by a *** dealership. I took the *** to the dealership, paid for oil change and tire rotation, I have not been refunded as of yet. A week later, I cam outside to go to work, at my new job which was my third day, the *** was gone. I called Kelly and texted the delivery guy to see if they knew what happened. No one knew anything, I dialed 911 and the operated told me the car was repossessed for non-payment. When I mentioned it to both Mike S and Mike T and Kelly C, they stop responding to me. I had money, work files devices in the car, when I arrived to the repossession lot I could not received any of my items because the car was not in my name. When I reached out to Kelly C, she did not know who name the car was in either and stop responding. She then called a week later asking me if I knew the VIN number for the car, I mentioned to her saying shouldn't you know this information.

Accuone is taking people money by stealing leasers from swap a lease acting as if they are going to take over their payments. They do not take over there payments. They hire tow drivers to leave cars at their lot get customers to provide a huge amount of money upfront and then wait until the car gets repossessed and act as if it is your fault.

The other day I was driving a loaner car, I got pulled over as they officer said the car was not insured. I explained where the car was from, he said he would let me go with a pass and that I need to park the car and no longer drive the car. This past Sunday, I was in the *** parking lot, when I arrived back to the loaner car that they provided me, Troopers pulled up with guns stating the car was stolen, they had the owner who explained that they never made payments and refused to speakto him

AccuOne Financial, Inc. caters to high risk clients with poor credit ratings. Our contracts require payments to be paid on time consistently there is no grace period as there is substantial risk on our end. *** missed her first payment that was due on March 1st. This placed her in default. She made her payment up the next day but did not pay the late fee keeping her in default. She asked for a change in payment date till the 12th each month and the company worked with her on. The car that we sold to her had an unpaid prior lien on it that we did not know about. We do a large volume and sometimes unexpected circumstances happen. This had never happened prior. The car we sold her was taken from her unexpectedly by the prior lienholder, again completely without any knowledge on our part.

The company immediately gave *** a new car and apologized. *** understood that sometimes unexpected circumstances occur. The company enrolled her in credit repair and she was a happy customer. While *** did not like the new car we gave her, we did promise her that in the future we will find a more desirable car for her. She was very content and continued with us and seemed very happy.

Her April 12th payment came due, she did not pay and refused to pay in writing. A few days after the car was taken from her as her second default. She acknowledged in writing that we can do this if and when she defaults.

We offered to reinstate her contract if she would make the April 12th payment, she refused and said she wants her money back. She bought a car, she did not comply with the terms. The car was lawfully repossessed supervised with law enforcement. *** is being overly dramatic in her complaint in an attempt to evoke sympathy. We trust people to make their payments on time and if they don't we take the car it is fully lawful.

We are more than happy to reinstate ***'s contract but a refund is not in the realm of possibilities she bought a car and defaulted.

AccuOne Financial Response • Jun 16, 2019

RESPONSE:

Unfortunately *** is incorrect on her dates. Her due date was the first each month. It was changed to the 12th. She indicated in writing prior to this that she did not have any intention of paying her payment on the 12th. Nevertheless the car was repossessed after this and after she was sent a default notice. She was offered reinstatement many many times but did not want to reinstate. This is a very simple contract default that *** is trying to complicate with hearsay and unsubstantiated drama.

AccuOne Financial has over 120 contracts in place and several attorneys that draft our contracts. We have many very satisfied clients and tried to help *** but she chose to listen to the wrong advice. There is nothing we can do. She defaulted on her contract and we have suffered financial loss due to that.

She is more than willing to file suit in a court of competent jurisdiction if that is what she desires.

I am rejecting this response because: This company is just responding months later. I am working on filing a civil suite with plenty of others, when I've asked to speak to your attorney there is no attorney provided or one who represents you. This is why I've escalated this process to further help with legal action. The car that you've provided me was a car you did not own, I have the copy of the report from the original car owner who lived in Bowie Maryland along with the Dealership who owned the car.

You've scammed plenty of people along with never responding after sending numerous of emails. I submitted all the correct paperwork and there was no payment missed, although I wish I have missed the payments or I would not have to hire lawyers for this case.

I've reached our numerous of times asking for money back. It seems you are not willing to do so. Your previous workers have even reached out explaining the fraud that the company is involved in along with your criminal fraud report. I've simply asked for my funds back.

Can you please let me know again for the fifth time if you are refunding the funds. I've provided all receipts for payments. I cannot believe it is now October and you are still not willing to provide money back from which you've stole. You have even removed your *** account and reviews to scam new customers.

Regards

Accuone owes me payments for leasing out my vehicle per their service agreement. They picked up my car on 12/13/19 and have only sent me one payment of $511.15 on 2/16/19. They owe me payments for 1/19, 3/19 and soon 4/19. Their service was to send lease payments for 6 months and then buy out the vehicle.

I have contacted them on several occasion via email and phone and they have been giving me the run around for months. I was told a check was returned to them "for some reason". However, they never reissued it. They also sent the attached letter advising payments weren't sent because their accounting department is behind in work.

Please see the attached correspondence.

Company received some inaccurate information from the Complainant at the beginning of the contract regarding the condition of the car. It created delays while the company determined the condition of the car and the cost for the repairs that were not disclosed by the Complainant.

Company is more than willing to reinstate contract and make payments due provided Complainant sign a Agreement stating such. He has not agreed to do so in our own conversations with him.

Accuone approached me when I had my car listed on ***. Unfortunately I decided to believe them that they would find a buyer for my car and when that happened I would have no more lease payments. They said they needed 6 months to do this and they would make my lease payments for the 6 months. They told me I had to leave the license plates on the car. They told me to cancel my insurance because they got insurance. THey never paid my lease and I called them. When they finally responded (the CFO Michael S) he said he leased my car to a woman in Virginia. I told him I never agreed to that and I wanted my car returned to me. He sent me a letter stating that he could return the car in 30-45 days and I had to pay him $1000. I agreed to pay the $1000 but it had to be returned immediately. He has not responded since and someone is driving around with my car and plates and possibly no insurance.

The Complainant was in breach of contract. He further violated the terms of the contract by using a backup key to repossess his car. He has his car at this time.

We are preparing litigation against the Complainant.

A few months ago I signed on to a contract that was supposed to help me get out of my vehicle lease. AccuOne had agreed to take possession of my vehicle with the intention of putting someone else in the vehicle and starting a new payment term. The plan was for them to pay me directly for 6 months for my car payment, in which I would then pay the the bill directly to Nissan as normal, and then after the 6 months, they would buyout the remaining balance on the vehicle and also send me a check for $1500. So far, I have only received the October payment, which was sent just shy of 1 month late, and once again, I am in the same situation waiting for the November payment to be sent. I have called, and sent emails to try and have this resolved multiple times. I have received responses claiming that the payment had been "batched" with the other outgoing payments, then I was told it was "pending" with the next ACH batch, and then yet another email saying that my November payment will "be out to you shortly. We have been short-handed and things are behind." This is over the course of 3 weeks after my November payment should have already been in my hands, so I could pay the bill on time (Nov. 28th). Instead I am sitting around waiting once again to receive the funds that were contractually agreed on. I will gladly provide copies of the contracts, and any emails or correspondence I've had with employees of AccuOne, and even one of the "Owners". I had my concerns that this could be some sort of scam when I first considered doing this, but once I received the first payment FINALLY, I thought that maybe they were a legitimate company, but one that is just very bad at handling their business in a timely manner. I just want this matter resolved and to not have to keep chasing my money every month. Please help!

AccuOne Financial Response • Feb 06, 2019

On or around January 4, 2019, a representative of the company spoke personally with the Complainant and discussed the transaction.

After this discussion, it appeared that the Complainant was satisfied and content. Then, soon thereafter it was noticed that a derogatory, defamatory, incorrect online review was posted by the Complainant. Also, it came to pass that the herein Revdex.com complaint was served on us as well. These two actions made it clear that the Complainant was still not happy even after the call of Jan. 4, 2019.

The company entered into a contract with the Complainant during Sept. 2018; a Lease Management Agreement under which the company bound itself to take possession of and manage the leased automobile of the Complainant. One of the obligations of the company under the Lease Management Agreement was to remit a monthly payment to the Complainant.

During the contractually agreed Vehicle intake Period which is the first 30 days once vehicle has changed possession, the company noticed that the Complainant was in breach of contract due to not renewing the registration prior to transfer of possession. This breach rendered the vehicle useless to the company until the breach was cured. The company cured the breach on its own and charged the Complainant for the costs.

This initial breach created a "freeze" on the Complainant's account and payments to him were suspended. After the breach was cured, the account was "unfrozen" and payment was released to Complainant.

During the next payment cycle, the company upgraded its accounting systems to allow for growth and more efficient handling of customer accounts. During this upgrade, about 33% of all customer accounts were accidentally deleted from record; the Complainant's account being one of them. Due to this occurrence, payments for about 1/3 of all customers were being processed late. Customers were contacted and explanations made. Every customer except for the Complainant was very understanding.

The phone call of January 4, 2019 was the reconciliation time and the company acknowledged that there were two payments of $537.10 and $563.96 outstanding and were going to be remitted to him within 7 - 10 days. Then, the Revdex.com complaint was filed and the defamatory online posting was made and the company opted to not send payments out but hold them pending resolution through the Revdex.com.

At this time, the company is agreeable to remitting these two checks as well as the 1-31-2019 payment of $537.10 provided that he remove the derogatory online posting that is adversely affecting business.

The company is bound to its contract and has always abided by its covenants. The Complainant appears to be a very impatient individual and does not realize that the company is very large with over 100 Lease Management Contracts in place. With this in mind, the Complainant needs to relax when a payment does not come on the exact day at the exact time. The company approximates when payments are released and that is the best that can be done. Resorting to drastic measures only makes matters worse.

The Complainant has further complicated this matter by filing a complaint with the Consumer Protection Division of the Attorney General's Office of the State of Connecticut. With that action pending, the company is reluctant to issue any payments until the Complainant dismisses all complaints and/or all complaints are resolved to the satisfaction of both parties. The Complainant is bent on complaining and not working with us and until this can be settled we will hold payments pending resolution.

In conclusion, the company is standing by its contract with the Complainant and is willing to remit past due payments to him provided he withdraw derogatory/defamatory comments online and settle the Revdex.com complaint as well as the complaint with the Consumer Protection Division. 2-1-2019

Denise R.,

Executive Vice President
