Mr*** Notice of right to cureMy contractor's response is to inspect the alleged defects. I received your detailed list of concerns on February 6th and then an additional item on February 9th Today is now February 17thPlease refer to the attachment on Monday February 6th email at 7:a.m. and also February 9th email at 3:p.m.Your outstanding balance is $9,The original Total was $12,minus the $3,down payment. There is only one item from the contract that was not performed " replumb old sump pump, secure, and install check valve. The remaining items that you claim are basically three concerns.1.claim for clean upclaim of a defect during the reinstallation of a to year old well tankCarpentry/millwork to the basement stair landing Upon reading your contract you will find that you the homeowner we're responsible for the removal of cabinets, shelving, workbench and any other belongings in the interior of the repair areaAlso under the section marked interior drain tile (on the front upper half of your contract) the 4th checkmark down reads "recement Floor and haul away debrisSweep and broom clean" The well tank being vintage to years old has a limited life expectancy of which I'm not quite certainHowever the company (***) you have recommended to have analyze the reinstallation of the tank will give us a degree of certainty for responsibility. The stair Landing maybe an option to redo or make a monetary payment upon inspection. Mr***, I am also open and making you an offer to seek out from the Revdex.com and alternative dispute resolution service in the form of mediation.Thank you,*** ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, a copy of my most recent response to the business appears below.--------------
Dear Mr***, You have deliberated misrepresented what has occurred since April (actually, since the sales process commenced about one year ago)You received a detailed list of concerns on May 11, including over a dozen photographsYou acknowledge receipt of same when you were at our home on November 15, We have previously made an offer regarding our outstanding balance during our phone negotiation at 10:AM on January 17, You have not responded to that offer You also have not remedied the cracks along the entire length of the cementing you performed, on all four wallsNor have you addressed the water arising from the floors that I showed to you during your site visit last November 15th Mr***, you continue to fabricate information and persist in misleading the Revdex.com about your actions/inactionsThe most recent example is your representation that the well tank was ‘vintage to years old’It was brand new within the last ten yearsThis was not only apparent to the eye, but documented to youAnd, as I told you, *** *** during his inspection opined that, while unlikely, a sharp strike in the area of damage could have caused the damageGiven the proximity to your plumber’s work, the incompetence demonstrated to that point, and that there was no damage prior to the arrival of your workers and subcontractors, any reasonable person would conclude that you caused the necessity to replace the pressure tank The stair landing and custom millwork is damaged beyond repairAs is the carpeting to itYou inspected this on November 15, and agreedI also pointed-out the many, previously enumerated, deficiencies, damage, and defects caused by you and your company Your citing of our contract is disingenuous*** ***, with two other individuals during the test procedure, offered the contracted services of ‘your son’ to move the cabinets, shelving, and workbench to the interior of the rooms to enable the installation of a dust barrier and use of air scrubbersThis will easily be recalled as ‘your son’ engaged in a lengthy discussion of the coyote problem we’ve experiencedWe were instructed to clear a six-foot clearing around the perimeter and that you site preparation and equipment would protect our home from dust, damage, and debrisWe did thatFurther, the photographs shown us during the sales presentation where, for the most part, dust-freeOnce the job began, I asked one of your workers to secure the dust barrier to the ceiling (it had fallen in many areas)He smiled and said ‘Si’Since then the dust has permeated our lungs, our upper-level, and damaged our propertyYour reference to the term ‘broom clean’ is a misnomer and does not address areas that you said would be protected, safe from your crew’s invasion, and dust-free In listing the remaining items to be cured, you failed to mention several including the negligent reinstallation of our iron curtain as indicated during the inspection performed by *** and *** on January 11, You said you would pay for that inspection, and that of ***, and failed toSo I paid them both, adding to the financial damages you’ve caused and list of broken promises you’ve given You have not responded to our many, many complaints since April 21, We were told by *** and Cris*** on numerous occasions that you and “***” would visit and inspect our damage claimsNeither of you ever visited before November 15, Seven months later!?! Given your damage and lack of respect of our property and the length of time it has taken to get any remediation from you (which has still not occurred), why would we have any confidence in your sincerity? Mediation can neither cure, nor compensate for, your past offensesOur recent offer to settle and move forward was more than anyone else under similar circumstances would have givenWe withdraw the offer if not accepted within ten (10) days

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  I refute much of his response as follows. [redacted] has misrepresented what occurred and omitted may parts of our dialogue with him and his business going back to April 21,2016. We were told on April 23, 2016 and many times subsequent that the owner, [redacted], and “[redacted]” would visit the site to inspect it and discuss our complaints. We have never met [redacted]. And, Mr. [redacted] did not appear until November 15, 2016. He appeared announced and without an appointment and it was by coincidence that I was able to spend some time with him last November.  The dust is a serious health issue which we’ve been living with for nearly a year. It has permeated our lungs and our residence. Mr. [redacted] disparages ServiceMaster by questioning their proposal for services totaling $2,262. I gave him a copy of the proposal so his words “I can’t imagine” are an exaggeration. Plus, he offered to clean himself. If he’d like to reconsider he must clean to our satisfaction by February 27th, the date on which ServiceMaster will do the work. We will then gladly add this amount to the fair settlement we proposed.  We have provided a detailed list of concerns on numerous occasions. We have also provided about 15 photographs of the damages caused by Accurate Basement Repair. And, we have documented countless emails and voicemails with [redacted], and [redacted] of the company. Mr. [redacted]’s inferences to the contrary are disingenuous at best and, in some cases, just plain false.  Finally, Mr. [redacted]’s statement of looking forward to helping us to a resolution misleading. He has not returned my phone calls, text messages, or emails in response to the offer of compromise we provided him with. As a small business owner myself, I am stunned by his continued lack of responsiveness and deliberate ‘cherry-picking’ of the facts. This should have been resolved ten months ago! Based on my experience with this company, I cannot believe they would ever honor their guarantee. For goodness sakes, I still haven’t been made right on the damages they caused last April! One more thing…they charged my $400 to drill three holes in our foundation to ‘test’ the that the work be done. For Mr. [redacted] to quibble over $250 in his response to the Revdex.com is true to his character and further illustrates my point about his unresponsiveness and apparent unwillingness to make a serious attempt to resolve our dissatisfaction. He is right—things don’t always go as expected. He then needs to take his medicine and move on.

Even though the warranty has expired, we will certainly try to make things right with the customer.  I have called them twice to set up a time to go out and look at their concerns and have not received a return phone call as of yet.

Accurate Basement Repair did a huge straightening job on 3 basement walls. There was no water problem yet, but a structural engineer's report convinced me the work needed to be done. Their procedures are thorough, organized, and quick. They have all kinds of equipment which arrived and left as needed. The men worked hard. It was dirty, noisy and back breaking work removing a concrete patio and steps; trenching on two sides of the house; straightening 3 walls; and drilling a new drain tile system around the interior perimeter. They answered all my questions before and during the process. They also assumed responsibility for the defective work of a concrete subcontractor and hired another company to repair the patio.

I have now used Accurrate Basement Repair for drain tile work in both my home and rental duplex. Both experiences were extremely positive. Accurate's crew made a dirty and labor intensive job look quick and easy. I would highly recommend.

Our realtor contacted Accurate about a basement repair. They came out within a week and provided my fiance with a free estimate that was very reasonable. [redacted] were very professional. They indicated the work couldn't be completed until August 15th. Because she was trying to sell her house they were able to complete the job a month ahead of schedule. Big stress reliever.

Very good company to work with . Knowledgeable staff, courteous service. Quality work at an affordable price

Accurate was both professional and honest in assessing and fixing our basement walls prior to our house sale. They explained the process in detail and completed it in a timely manner. The work area was left neat and clean after they left. Our basement was both dry and sound. We were so pleased, we regretted not having done this sooner so we could have enjoyed the transformation. We would highly encourage you to talk with this company and gather their input before making any decisions on basement fixes.

Professional, thorough and knowledgeable. Vast expertise in foundation and drainage. Prompt courteous service. Well respected.

We tried selling our house and had no takers. as soon as Accurate Basement repair came in and installed a drain tille system in our 100 yr old house, we had an accepted offer. after a few days of downpour we had a very minor leak show up, all it took was a phone call and accurate had a crew out there within hours to fix the leak.

While other company's tried to sell me on ridiculous repairs, [redacted] from accurate came in and was simply opened the Palmer valve in the floor drain...saved me thousands! Would definitely use Accurate again!

Poor communication from the company. We were not warned of protecting for lots of dust. We got an estimate of $625 to clean up their mess.
Also concrete was sprayed on our personal possessions.
We received a $100 rebate which we considered token.
Little further attempt to discuss the matter.
