We were contracted to replace the house roof, the garage roof and the gutters of Mr [redacted]'s house for $16,500.00. We completed the contracted work for that agreed amount and received payment from the previous owner as the home was under their insurance policy at the time of the hail storm. Unfortunately we did install the wrong color gutters on Mr [redacted]'s house, which we offered to replace or paint match his original request. The insurance claim included additional items that were outside of the initial contract for house and garage roofs and house gutters. The process of supplementing the additional items took longer than expected due to the insurance company and Mr [redacted] advised us he was going to use another contractor to complete the rest of the repairs on the claim. At this point we released Mr [redacted] from the rest of the contract and requested that he inform us when he wanted to address the gutters. We stand beside our offer to paint Mr [redacted]'s gutters a color of his choice, as he originally requested, or replace them with a different color of his choice. We also will replace the broken fence picket Mr [redacted] pointed out to us. Please see the attached pictures to note that most of the fence pickets are cracked where the screws that hold them were installed. The cracks in the pickets are from the screws not being predrilled during fence install but regardless we will replace the one picket that is broken on the top.
