I do recall the situationI was called out for a second service callI made the customer aware that I would come out and that we had a minimum charge of a half hr labor plus service call unless it was our fault in which case the service would be freeI arrived and honestly can't remember if the cable was off or brokenTho I can guarantee I would never tell someone a part was broken, if it wasn'tI started to repair the door when the lady who wasnt my original customer came out very mean and told me that I need to check the other door while I was there because she didn't want anymore service feesI informed the lady that the fee only covered the door I was working on and if there were any other issues there would be additional costsAll this while I was just getting started on the repairShe started yelling and telling me to leaveI left the job site for a few minutes to let the situation calm downCame back apologized and offered to do the service for freeShe came to the door but didnt open itTold me to leave through the glassOut of options I left the jobWeek or two later I receive a certified letter from the customer telling me he wanted all his money back or he would take actionI responded to the customer letting him know that on his receipt it clearly states having someone else other than Accurate Garage Doors,llc work on his door actually voids any warranty on the work we doI also offered to give him half of his money back just so it wouldn't come to thisI really try to be fair and make all my customers happyUnfortunately he said that was unacceptable and was taking further action

I am rejecting this response because: Mr R*** distorts the factsHe was not asked to service a second garage door but rather to insure that a third service call for the same door would not be imminentAlso, there would be nothing to apologize for, or to offer free service, if MrR*** wasn't at fault for verbally abusing my wifeHis service guarantee is meaningless as it violates Ohio code
