Review: I hired Accurate Home Inspection to perform a pre home buying inspection on Saturday, June 13, 2015. The inspector (Jim) came out and was not interested in inspecting the home as much as he was talking personal to my husband. In essence, the home inspector missed many major, important issues that should have been caught before the closing on this house and now I (the new homeowner) have to pay for all of his mistakes. He missed that there was no water coming out of the showerheads, the gas line was stripped in the basement, the upstairs window does NOT sit in the seal correctly letting air into the house, 3 important outlets do NOT work ( I plugged my freezer into a non-working outlet, which I was not aware that it didn't work, and all the frozen food I moved from my previous house turned warm and I had to throw $500 worth of frozen food away). Wires in the basement were just "hanging" from the ceiling, and there are NO fans in any of the bathrooms, (just to name a few items that he didn't catch). I called Accurate Home Inspections on August 25, 2015 to explain how I wanted a refund for the lack of work not performed. The owner stated he would issue me a refund check that evening. It has been a week and I have not received any calls or a check. I want Revdex.com to be aware of these false claims this business is issuing to consumers about home inspections.Desired Settlement: I would like Accurate Home Inspections to refund my full amount paid for an inspection that was not completed AND I want the public to be aware of their false claims that they inspect homes properly and in accordance with the law.
