Dear Revdex.com,
It's unfortunately that *** does not understand the repairs that were Completed to his boat with his authorization, in regards to the cylinder head repair I initially gave him a estimated price for the cylinder head repair, but there's no way to be exact until the cylinder head is inspected, they were some valves that needed to be replaced, which can only be determined upon the disassembly an inspection of the cylinder head which are additional cost.in addition to the other parts required he requested for a detailed explanation of all parts in which I provided for him in the final invoice,I'm not sure what he's referring to to cut and paste because all the parts that were listed on his invoice with the parts that were utilized to repair his engine.as I stated previously during the repair there were other items that needed to replaced in order for the engine to be properly repaired in which we had to do so as additional cost of parts and labor,it is very difficult to determine exactly what parts will be needed previously the only way to determine is to completely disassemble and inspect, what example of ***'s lack of knowledge regarding hose clamps is that it is true *** *** does Sell a less quality hose clamp for 2-dollars or so They also provide a higher quality which is approximately 5-Dollars depending on the size, which we utilize these clamps when repairing,it is unfortunate that *** has referred to a previous complaint about our company without knowing all the facts, one example of improper thinking, it would be wrong in my part to perceive that *** was a deceitful man in regards to him claiming to have a lesser income per month in hopes to try to lower his child support and spousal payment in which the court found that to be true but since I don't know all the facts I would not want to assume that to be about true him, *** continues to try to cunningly circumvent his responsibility, again I continue to hope that we can resolve this at this level but I am not opposed to moving forward with the lien on his boat and the impoundmentIf this issue cannot be resolved by 2-16-15, I will with out further notice move ahead with legal recourse as stated in our invoice Regards, *** ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to
complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not
resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed
appear below.
I have included the Estimate, Invoice #1 & #2, copy of the phone TXT
messages between [redacted] & I, Copy of [redacted] threatening email to me.
Estimate included 22.5 hours of labor at $95.00 hour. My first txt requested
[redacted] to check with me at $500.00 & $1,000.00. He did not. He worked on the
boat for a month before sending me the estimate on 10/17/2014.  I paid the estimate and requested we hold the
cost. His answer was "I'll see what I can do."
I believe I over paid
on the $4,00.00, but as he had started the work & removed parts from my
boat I had few options so I paid.
Nowhere in the TXT or phone did [redacted] mention an additional $1,300 was
required. This was only brought up after he said he was finished and the sea trial.
The second reason for not paying is the second & third invoices are clear fabrications
by [redacted] to justify more money.
The description of work is phony as you can tell [redacted] just cut & pasted. Parts of
the description are repeated. He did it twice or a means to add additional time
& money to the invoice?
Other inflated examples are
Charges twice to Clean & Test Heat exchanger $270.00  each time
Charges twice to Rebuild Cylinder Head. Charges for the head in Labor, the
parts external labor & lastly sneaks in the parts to rebuild head on last
page of invoice. What is the cost? Did [redacted] do the work? There is a $350.00
line item for the head. What did it include?
Charges $5.79 each for 18 hose clamps that [redacted] sells for under $2.00
each.
Time & time again are his bills riddled with phony work & inflated
cost.
[redacted] freely admits he did not have written permission to increase the bill in writing
or remembrance of any oral contract for $1,330.00.
Last but not least. [redacted] seems to have a pattern of overcharging and
threatening the customer as reflected in the last Revdex.com complaints about him.
Regards,
[redacted]

Dear Bbs ,In response to the complaint by [redacted],we did take a long time to complete repairs as I expressed to him my sincere apology for that there was a gasket  that were not ordered and when we finally ordered them they were backordered from the factory,he did mention to me that...

you like to keep it about $4000 if he could but he also expressed that he wanted it done correctly, upon assembly of Engine I had verbally expressed to him some other items that needed attention he then responded by saying whatever needs to get done let's get it repaired,so I took his verbal authorization for the work over in about the $4000 and he mentioned that he was trying to keep it at,after the sea trial I again reiterated the other items and parts we had to replace letting him know that there was a balance due on labor and material and he acknowledged yes please send me the final invoice, now that I sent the final invoice now he is refusing to pay in addition he did mention that there were some concerns that he had and I have on a numerous occasions expressed that we will gladly return back and review his concerns and then if you want something that we were responsible for we would address them at no charge to him, he has not allowed us to inspect which is is I expressed to him part of the protocol in allowing the contractor to review and inspect any concerns the customer may have, in addition [redacted] being a [redacted] aware that bylaw he is only obligated to  signed authorization in that case he is actually playing games because he is well aware of the law,I feel that we have done all we can to justify an address his concerns he is just trying Circumvent his responsibility and try to trying to get work done for free, I have also made adjustments to the invoice in hopes that we can resolve this issue but it appears that he does not want to make any adjustments my expressions on putting a lien on his boat is a normal practice in this line of work if a customer refuses to pay for work that was authorized, again my hope is that we can come to some type of agreement perhaps meeting halfway in connection to the balance over due,, but if it is not resolved I will have no other alternative to move ahead with the lien & impoundment of his boat until our matters are resolved, I appreciate your time and concern for our matter and I am hopeful for a positive result.
 Regards,

Review: Mr [redacted] submitted a quote of $4,000.00 to repair an over heating issue with my Sail Boat [redacted]. I received the quote and paid the quote in Full. After two mounts of delays and mist deadlines, I received an additional bill for $1,300.00 that I had not signed or authorized. [redacted] is now sending me threatening letters that unless the addition amount is paid he will have my boat confiscated & tied up in court for 6-9 months. I have asked for mediation to resolve this issue and his only response was the threat of additional amounts. [redacted] freely admits he did not perform his work in a timely manner or completed his work as requested resulting in my loss of use of the boat for part of the Fall & Winter of 2014.

I wish to pay for what was agreed to in writing and feel our relationship is completed. There were unresolved mechanical issues and I no longer trust his work or judgement.Desired Settlement: I want a full release from [redacted], & Accurate Marine Services to remove any leans & collection agencies.

My complaint is almost exactly like previous complains about his business.
