Zip to Zip Movers was/is one of the worst companies to work with when you are trying to move from one state to another Items that were picked up on June 27th were not delivered until July 14th and at that a lot of items never left their warehouseCustomer service is below par When calling, no one picks up there phone and hardly ever calls you back You have to constantly call every dayWhen calling to reach out about my missing items, they wanted to pass me off very quickly to their claims department It was until I pushed to have them search their warehouse in NJ that they found my items (that was on 7.18.16) On that day, I was told that all of my items were going to be Fedexed to me and they would provide me with a tracking number On I called and they changed their minds about sending my items via Fedex and that they were going to put my stuff on a truck and have someone drive it out starting Today is which is the 18th business day (in which I was told that for my move they had business days to get me my items), no one has called me with notification that my items are on a truck and en route I have called the Shipping Coordinator as well as the warehouse contact and neither one has returned my calls or will pick up their phoneLast thing I would like to mention is that the people they sent out to pick up my items to begin with are very crooked people They tried to make it seem like I would have a problem with getting all my stuff to move and told me that if I paid them each $a piece that they would ensure my stuff made it Of course I did this because I need my stuff and was very worried Once I reported this to the moving company, they said they were going to open up an investigation on the three men, but never once did they apologize, or say that we will be giving you your money back, or anythingI paid my deposit for the move the day I booked with them I paid for the balance in full the day they picked up my items Even that didn't help meI feel as if I have gotten the short end of the stick and taken advantage of I want others to be warned about them and know that there are far better moving companies out thereIt is be far the worst customer service I have ever experienced When you say you are going to call, you must call When you say you are going to do something, you must follow through This company has poor customer service skills and no follow through

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! We contacted this company when we were planning our move from Potsdam, NY to Las Vegas, NV The agent (Rachel) was very nice and requested we put $690,00+ deposit down on the move Once I did this that was the last time I spoke with Rachel The company did not show up on different scheduled appointments Called the company and tried all extensions but nobody answered or called me back All calls went unanswered along with no call backs after countless voicemails left Finally got a a call back and [redacted] reasons were given to why they did not show up i.e dog ate my homework Got to the point we could not trust that our belongings would not be delivered so canceled the move They kept the deposit due to the contract signed DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

I would not recommend this business be used by ANYONE After they received my initial order and picked up my household belongings, they would not return my calls regarding their failure to deliver on time They were supposed to deliver within business days but did not deliver for months! Which was a breach of contract, however, they would not unload my possessions until I paid them IN CASH Their customer service was horrible and they would not negotiate the price even though they breached the contract and basically held my belongings hostage until I paid in cash DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!

Dear [redacted],Please contact our claims department to be reimbursed for your missing item. ###-###-####Kate P[redacted]Customer Service SupervisorDirect ###-###-####[redacted]@ziptozipmovers.com

Zip to Zip Movers was/is one of the worst companies to work with when you are trying to move from one state to another. Items that were picked up on June 27th were not delivered until July 14th and at that a lot of items never left their warehouse.
Customer service is below par. When calling, no one picks up there phone and hardly ever calls you back. You have to constantly call every day.
When calling to reach out about my missing items, they wanted to pass me off very quickly to their claims department. It was until I pushed to have them search their warehouse in NJ that they found my items (that was on 7.18.16). On that day, I was told that all of my items were going to be Fedexed to me and they would provide me with a tracking number. On 7.20.16 I called and they changed their minds about sending my items via Fedex and that they were going to put my stuff on a truck and have someone drive it out starting 07.21.16. Today is 7.22.16 which is the 18th business day (in which I was told that for my move they had 17 business days to get me my items), no one has called me with notification that my items are on a truck and en route. I have called the Shipping Coordinator as well as the warehouse contact and neither one has returned my calls or will pick up their phone.
Last thing I would like to mention is that the people they sent out to pick up my items to begin with are very crooked people. They tried to make it seem like I would have a problem with getting all my stuff to move and told me that if I paid them each $100.00 a piece that they would ensure my stuff made it. Of course I did this because I need my stuff and was very worried. Once I reported this to the moving company, they said they were going to open up an investigation on the three men, but never once did they apologize, or say that we will be giving you your money back, or anything.
I paid my deposit for the move the day I booked with them. I paid for the balance in full the day they picked up my items. Even that didn't help me.
I feel as if I have gotten the short end of the stick and taken advantage of. I want others to be warned about them and know that there are far better moving companies out there.
It is be far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. When you say you are going to call, you must call. When you say you are going to do something, you must follow through. This company has poor customer service skills and no follow through.

RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN. This company is the definition of "scam". I wish I would have looked at reviews before booking but I stupidly did not. They underbid a couple companies I talked to and the salesman seemed polite and friendly so I booked with them.
The quote he gave after getting my inventory list was for $5500 which was right around other companies. They took a deposit and then showed up on the last day of the window. The foreman of the group said he would write everything up as they did it instead of up front because he wasn't sure how much supplies he would need.
AFTER my stuff was all packed up he said the total came to $11,200... That's right, more than twice the estimate. He said it was because I had more than they anticipated (even though everything was on the inventory list) and they had to use supplies (ie tape and a couple extra boxes which totaled $1000). I was given the phone number for the "boss" who gave me a generous discount of $600... Even though that still left me $5,100 over my quote. Also, I asked the foreman if this frequently happened and he said yes, about every job was like this. He explained the salesmen intentionally shoot way under because they make commission off the sale and they always know it will be significantly higher.
Unfortunately all my stuff had to be stored for about 3 weeks in their "1 month included free secure storage" which was a warehouse as I found out afterward. The bonus they don't tell you? Their warehouse has mice. Anything that could be chewed was chewed and there was poop all over everything.
When it came time for delivery, a man (who barely spoke English) showed up with a truck and said he couldn't back into my new driveway so it would be an additional $400 for the added distance and $200 if I wanted anything placed upstairs or in the basement (which had already been discussed). After arguing about it and losing, I explained I was the only one there and would have to leave to get cash and he rudely insisted I leave and get cash right then or he would "leave everything on the road" and it would be my problem. The 4 guys he brought in to do the labor were off C[redacted]. They were hired a couple days prior and showed up that day... No proof of experience, no background checks, nothing.
Besides the mouse poop in so many boxes and things chewed, it seems that every box that had "fragile" written on it was dropped. Many of my dishes and picture frames were broken despite layers of wrapping. Several of my pieces of furniture were damaged. Two bookshelves (cheaper ones) were completely shattered and when I asked the main guy about it he said it wasn't his problem- talk to the office. I spoke to the boss and he said he would get someone from the complaints department to call me but I've obviously not heard from them.
This company is rude and ruthless and I would never do business with them again.
