MrS*** is misrepresenting if not lying completely, I had two companies whom looked at the house after MrS***, attached you have the statement of one of the companies whom looked at the house after MrS***’s left the houseWithin the next day or two I will provide another statement from the general contractor whom looked at the house after MrS***Also when MrS*** says that he has done things, I would like to direct him to the contract he signed, the second payment was only to be paid to him after he either all three floors prepped and ready for finish paint or at least one floor completely finishedWhen he says that he “agreed to the second draw when he got two floors roughed in (prepped, primed, and painted)”, makes me believe he has not read the contract he has signed, the contract specifically says all three floors prepped or at least one floor completely finishedI have doors, out of that only were primed only not even painted, out of windows and trims around them only were only primed, and on some of that only one side of it was primedAnd out of those windows none was caulked or had finish paint on itOut of closets none were even touched; out of sky lights none were touched.I have pictures as evidence that I can provide upon request, as proof of this matter, I have statements of contractors that did not get the job to finish as evidenceI would love to see MrS*** in court one of these days as he tries to explain himselfOne thing MrS*** is right about he has used rolls of tape, he is right he may have and that is where he has damaged every surface he used tape on, and I have picture evidence of that and can provide it up on request

To Whom it may concern:This is in response to Revdex.com Complaint ID [redacted] submitted by [redacted].We entered into a contract on March 12, 2016.  The total amount was $17,500.  Mr. [redacted] did not want the work to start until March 28, 2016.  They contract stated 10% to secure the job....

He paid, (his wife paid the deposit with a check) which was $1750.00.  Mr. [redacted] was out of town at this time. We started the job on March 28, 2016 and he paid a down payment of $5200.00.  I went to the residence on March 26th the day before Easter to take pictures and to get the colors he wanted.  His wife informed me that she wanted to change what we discussed and agreed upon and the painting of the handrails.  The areas previously were not to be painted at all.  They agreed,  and I advised there would be a $500 additional cost to paint it.  They agreed.  At 8:20 am Easter morning Mr. [redacted] called me and was angry about the additional cost after agreeing to the changes the day before.  I advised that I did not price it before and I cannot paint it free  He spoke very loudly and angry early in the morning.  He advised that everything that was pickled stained in the house was to be painted white and he kept saying do you understand.  I just want you to know everything pickled in the house, I now want painted.  I acknowledged.  He did not want to pay any additional cost for this.  I explained I only priced what you asked for this was NOT included in the estimate.  He said you can start tomorrow or do not start tomorrow. He called me and wanted to secure my services. He advised after speaking with 7 different contractors and receiving other estimates, He decided he liked me and another contractor working together and wanted to get the work completed.Back to Easter morning, he advised he wanted me to start the job tomorrow or do not start the job tomorrow, just let him know.  I started the job because I had purchased materials and scheduled contractors to begin the job.  All of this unnecessary conversation could have caused deadlines to not be met.  I started prepping the job, sanding wood, priming wood, and completed a top coat of paint.  We started with the largest part of the house, prepping, sanding and painting, handrails, windows, doors, and trim.  I had a conversation with his wife (he was out of town).  When he came home, he looked at the job and shook my hand.  I showed him and his wife the finished product in the dining room with the exception of  some holes he wanted filled where we took down some blinds that were not being replaced.  He and he was very pleased.  He apologized for the conversation Easter morning.  He told me he would pay  me a bonus at the end of the job.  I agreed to get two floors roughed in (prepped, primed, and painted) out 3 floors before the next draw.   His wife and his mother came over to check the status and they were both very pleased.  She was surprised that I had started in on the third floor and was almost done.  I advised her that I would need the next draw to proceed with the job.  She said no problem.  She gave me her husband's phone number because he was out of town. I talked to him the next day and he was advised he wanted to pay half of the draw money but wanted me to continue the work.  I told him we did more than half of the job and was due the next draw to cover expenses.  He said he wanted to give me half of the draw, I told him that is not what we agreed upon and not what was stated on the contract.  He became hostile and I discontinued the conversation.  He wife contacted me via text message and advised my husband will pay you, please just call him.  When I called him, he laughed and found humor in me calling him and he then discontinued the conversation and hung up.  He texted me and advised I can arrange for you to come and pick up your supplies.  I told him I have my supplies and I was going to put a lien on his house because I completed the work and he refused to pay me.  He replied,  "Good".I used 89 rolls of tape, countless sizes of paper and plastic and sanding materials.  I left his house prepped so it would be easy for whomever to restart. He owes me $10,550.I have before pictures and I have after pictures of the progress for every room in the house.  I also have pictures of the job and how it looked when I left.  He is filing a complaint as he needs to justify a lien being placed on his property.
