We do confirm that we replaced Mrs. Stevens pressure tank on 2/10/15 for the amount of $600.00. However, we doubt the validity of this Revdex.com claim due to the following reasons:1 .) We were never given the opportunity to correct the problem if there was one. We believe we should be given a...

chance to repair a mistake so we can validate what isactually wrong or what happened. Home owner states that the occurrence happened on 6/20 and waited 3 days for another plumbing company to look at it. Her first contact with us, as stated on the complaint, was 6/29. IF she had contacted us, even on the 20th, we would have treated it as an emergency call and came out the same day. Even once she was told what happened by the other plumbing company, we believe she should have explained that it was just recently replaced and was going to call us back to correct the mistake under warranty. Having someone else work on something we did voids the warranty.2.) Home owner states that we won't talk to her, yet I have talked to her twice myself as did one of my associates this past Friday, 7/10 while I was off. We asked her for an invoice from the other company to help explain the issue as well as give proof that the work was actually done and she said she has not received one yet. We can't afford to refund $600 on someone else's word. 3 .) Home owner states that the tank had been pressurized to 1001bs and ruptured the bladder. We don't understand how they could tell the pressure was at that high level. If the bladder was ruptured, it shouldn't be able to give a reading to how high it had been pressurized, the reading would be zero.We believe there is a protocol when someone is getting services warrantied and that would consist of giving that company a chance to warranty their own work. Refundingmoney after another company performed the work is not our definition of a warranty. We have been in business for almost 40 years. We have been members of the Revdex.com formany years as well as [redacted]. We have an A+ rating from the Revdex.com and hold an A rating with [redacted] as well. We could not stay in business that long and hold thosekind of accolades by being a dishonest company. Conversely, we also could not stay in business that long if we refunded money without obtaining factual evidence that we didsomething incorrectly.Mike Y[redacted] - Accurate Plumbing

Their offer to pay me $300.00 is acceptable.[redacted]

Although we feel that we were not given the opportunity to properly warranty our work, we are willing to split the bill with the home owner to put this behind us all. Since it wasn't handled by us, we are unable to get credit from the manufacturer for the tank if in fact it was defective, so we will refund what we have in it. So our offer is to refund $300.00 to the home owner.Thank you,[redacted]Accurate Plumbing

1.) I did contact Accurate Plumbing on June 29th, 2015 It was a Monday at 1:40 pm. Was told by Mike that the "Owner' wasn't there and that he would talk to the owner and call me back by Friday, July 3rd, 2015. No call back I called again on Wednesday July 8th, 2015 and was told  "I don't have any record of you calling us so I need to talk to the owner and will call you back Friday July 10th before noon", again no call back.2.) I am not a plumber. I paid them $600.00 in good faith with the understanding that they knew what they were doing. I should have been more aware when AccuratePlumber showed up and said "I've never done a well water system before but I called someone and it should be OK.".3.) When Accurate Plumbing did call me Friday July 10th, 2015 it was only after I had filed a complaint with Revdex.com and had contacted The Basement Doctor to see if theycould do anything for me. On that phone call I was advised to send them my paid invoice from the other plumbing company and they, Accurate Plumbing, wouldsee what they could do. 4.) I have not received the invoice from the other plumbing company as of this writing.5 .) I know the tank was over pressurized because I watched the other plumber check and recheck several times the tank pressure on the test port. The gauge wasreading over 100#s every time, then when he tried to bleed the pressure off it sprayed water everywhere which means the tank is saturated because the bladder has ruptured6.) I called another plumbing company because I assumed the problem was some where else not my brand new tank !! ! Why should I call back Accurate Plumbingwhen they couldn't do it right the first time.Thank you,[redacted] [redacted]
